She’s come to a beautiful secluded resort to evaluate the private island’s potential for her agency, not to ogle its owner. But there’s something about the magnetic man that’s hard to resist, even for a woman who refuses to fall in love.

Valentino Masini: A successful and drop-dead sexy businessman, Valentino is used to having the finer things in life. Yet he’s never wanted someone the way he wants Meg, who’s stirring up a hurricane of trouble in his heart. But just as he decides to convince her to stay, someone else decides it might be time to get Meg off the island…permanently.

I've been a fan of Catherine Bybee since the first Weekday Brides book came out. Once I read Wife By Wednesday I was eternally hooked to her writing and books. Since then, I've read everything she published and I am always anxious to get my hands on each new story. Once I found that that I will be able to be apart of the blog tour and review the latest book in the Weekday Brides series I was close to delirious from happiness (I would've reviewed the book anyway but there is just something really awesome about being part of the blog tour for one of your favorite authors and series :)) And let me tell you, this latest installment didn't disappoint at all, even with all the expectations I had from this book.  The characters were easy to love and connect with, well developed and simply captivating. I loved being able relate to their problems and feelings. Most of the time I felt as part of the story and not simply a reader which I think is very rare nowadays. The story in itself was masterfully told in a way that will catch your attention and keep you occupied and guessing pretty much till the last page. Even though I was able to guess some of the twists and turns in the plot, Catherine Bybee still managed to surprise me and keep me invested in her characters' story. Both, Val and Meg were quite interesting and fun to read about.  Each one of them has his/her own quirks that makes them feel real and at the same time gives the story the easy and comedic feel it needs to lighten the suspense flowing through the book. One of my favorite parts was the banter between the two main characters. They were just so much fun :D At the same time the chemistry between them is simply of the charts which generally increases the hotness of the book. And let's be honest. Val is definitely and eye-candy. Even a sworn fan of brooding dominant alpha bad boys like me can recognize that (I am all team Neil) and that says a lot. There was just something in his loving touches, romantic gestures, tender whispered words in Italian and yes, his dominant behavior that just stole my heart. Meg is also quite a lovely character. She seeks independence and stability without the help of a man by her side and this was definitely something easy to relate for me. I loved that Val didn't try to stifle that in her even though he still wanted to take care of her and protect her. In my opinion they were just perfect for each other :) Another part of the book I really enjoyed was meeting all the characters from the previous books :) That was definitely fun and I loved that Michael finally found his HEA or at least as close as he can get at the moment :) I also loved Gabi and I can't wait to find out what will happen to her. Who will be the amazing man who will help her heal and open up to trusting and loving a man again. In a few words, the book was awesome. I haven't had a book hangover for awhile now but I definitely had one after finishing Seduced by Sunday. Once I opened the book I put my kindle down at 7am in the morning when I finished it. So yes, I spent a whole night reading because in normal Catherine Bybee style, she grabbed my attention with the first few words and didn't release me until I reached the acknowledgements :D I simply can't wait for her next book to come out, no matter from which series it is :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.

This was an easy read for me.   I started in on a Friday night and had it finished before Sunday morning came.    Every book in this series is amazing.   I have read each one and am so excited when I get a notice that another is on the way.    Catherine Bybee is an author that I know I can always rely on to entertain me from the first page until the very last word.   Seduced by Sunday is my favorite so far.    It was packed with a ton of action yet kept the love and romance alive and strong.    Meg was due to find her happiness.   She saw her best friend find her forever happy ever after in Taken by Tuesday (#5) yet didn’t really think she was due to find hers.   The idea of traveling to a secluded, no paparazzi, island was intriguing.   I mean isn’t there media and cameras everywhere?   Yet, Meg and Michael pose as a couple and travel to this remote island to test their security.     Enter Valentine, SIGH! From the very first email between Meg and Val you could feel the sparks.  I was just hoping that the sparks would ignite into a fire when they finally met face to face.    There was no disappointment.   The flames grew with each meeting and each conversation.   The romance and love grew and their story just got better and better. If you have not checked out Catherine Bybee and this series of Bride books you are seriously missing out.    RUN to the nearest book store and purchase your copy today.   Of course, I recommend Seduced by Sunday.

This was a very enjoyable book.  Val and Meg’s story was very cute and I loved all the supporting characters.  I haven’t read any other books in the series, but this stood on its own pretty well.  I am interested in the rest though, especially because I think it’ll put some things in perspective regarding a few of the secondary characters. The suspense aspect of the book was extremely predictable and while I liked Val’s sister Gabi, she was painfully naïve.  However, I don’t mean to be all spoilery, but at least things do end on a happy note.  Seduced by Sunday took me on an emotional ride.  Pick this one up for a delicious romantic read!

I’ve actually reviewed a couple of Bybee’s books already (I’m not sure how I missed Taken By Thursday but I’ll get that one up soon) and I have to say I’ve loved every one of them. They are fantastic mix of suspense and romance. I haven’t met a person that I haven’t liked in this series (or at least not anyone I’m supposed to like) and this time isn’t any different. Bybee gives little glimpses of her heroines in preceding stories so we’ve met Meg before and I wasn’t surprised that I liked her. She’s strong and sassy, just like a weekday bride should be. And of course, she deserves a hunky and suave hero, which she gets with Val. He’s deliciously Italian – cool and sexy, but with a nice bit of fire inside. At the beginning we get a little flirtation between Val and Meg, but it doesn’t take long for Bybee to get the ball rolling on their troubles. I have to say that it was quite obvious where the problems were coming from but she still manages to make you wonder. It isn’t as much of a whodunit but more of a whydunit and what are our leads going to do about it. Together Val and Meg, with their friends of course (hi everyone!), take serious insult to anyone threatening them and those they love so you know that they are going to take care of business … and they do. It’s quite satisfying to see how they get to the bottom of everything and the way that it is all resolved. But I think my favorite part of this one is the fact that we continue to get Michael’s story. Out of all of the characters he’s my favorite and I’m not sure why. Maybe it is the adversity that he faces, the fact that he so very much wants to have a satisfactory life and a HEA, his lifestyle choice that is so much a hot point right now. We know that we’ll get another story in the series since Gabi has to get her happy ending, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that Bybee shows us that things can work out for him. Full of a great deal of humor and spark, love and friendship, romance and heat, Seduced by Sunday is a great addition to the Weekday Brides series. If you haven’t read one before, that’s fine – Bybee does a great job of keeping each story self-contained but with enough character flow between them to keep returning readers happy. Meg Rosenthal specializes in matching people, but can she find her perfect match? She wasn’t a believer of love and forever. She might be a matchmaker by occupation, but overall she was a realist. There was no way she was going to get swept off by his feet by some prince charming, even if he owns one heck of an island. Val was irresistible, may it be in a power suit or not. He was successful in every way, and is close to his family. His private island was his baby, and he will do everything to protect it. Meg has the power to shift him off his feet, and knock his world off his axis. Meg initially didn’t really like him THAT much, although the attraction was palpable. Yet, day by day, Val did small little things to woo her. Just as when everything was going as it should be, strange things were happening that wanted Meg out of the island. Danger was lurking, lives are endangered, and they were about to find out who is behind it all… More than the romance and off-the charts chemistry between Val and Meg, I love the thrill and mystery running throughout the novel. Who is capable of doing such thing? Will they ever find out before it’s too late? It had kept me glued to the book, unable to stop reading until I was able to find out who the perpetrator is. One surprising twist after the other, lots of lovable and interesting character and one heck of a romance that will make you swoon – it’s certainly another great read from Catherine Bybee! I can't wait for Gabi's turn for her happy-ever-after!

I have been a fan of Catherine Bybee for years now and her Weekday Brides series was my introduction to her writing. It's always been a favorite of mine and book number six is no exception...this book was fantastic. Meg Rosenthal works for Alliance doing the matchmaking thing that the agency is known for. When she and her co-workers learn about an island getaway that might be a perfect fit for their clients, Meg sets out to visit. Needing a cover story for visiting, Meg asks Michael Wolfe, world renowned actor to accompany her. Meg thinks she's going to be all business on the island, but little does she know that her interest is going to be piqued by the island's owner. Valentino Masini has everything he could ever want in his business and he's used to having things his way in all aspects of his life. What he isn't expecting is to have his head turned by a strong willed, sexy woman who he isn't quite sure he trusts her motives for being on his island. As Meg and Val begin to spend time together, along with Michael, his friend Ryder and Val's sister Gabi and mother, it becomes apparent there is someone that doesn't want Meg to be on Val's island. Photos begin to show up showing Meg in compromising positions and when threats begin to accompany the photos, there is no doubt something bigger than any of them anticipated is going on. Will Meg and Val, along with the help of all of Meg's high powered friends back in California be able to get to the bottom of what they assume is blackmail before it's too late? And, if they do, will Meg allow herself to do the one thing she swore she'd never do...fall in love? Catherine Bybee makes it worth your while to go along for the ride with Meg, Val and the rest of the crew. This book was awesome from the beginning and the mystery she wove into the story as well made it that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this book, along with the others in the Weekday Brides series.

Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book Reviews by Kim One of the reasons I love reading Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides Series is because I get the romance I crave with an element of suspense that I love. Margaret “Meg” Rosenthal is the newest matchmaker for Alliance. While attending the wedding of a client, she hears about the uber private island resort of Sapore di Amore, located in the Florida Keys. The resort is so private that in order to even become a guest, you have to be cleared by having a background check. Thinking this would be a great destination for future clients, Meg enlists the help of Hollywood superstar and heartthrob, Michael Wolfe. The two pose as a couple to see if the resort truly is as private and impenetrable as the owner, Valentino Masini says it is. Valentino “Val” Masini has worked hard to take care of his family and establish a business exclusively for the rich and famous who want to enjoy a nice little getaway from prying eyes. Val doesn’t usually get involved with guests, but he is totally intrigued with the woman who politely refuses to be refused access to his resort. What starts as a simple dinner and conversation sets off a chain of events Meg, Michael, and Val don’t see coming. Before the story ends Meg’s life will be threatened, Michael’s career could come to an end, Val could lose something more important than money, and Alliance will gain a new employee. I’ve now read three of the six Weekday Brides books. I love the unwavering friendship the characters in this series have. These people will truly go to the ends of the earth and risk their life for each other. I don't know how she does it but Catherine Bybee has written another wonderfully, fantastic book. Seduced by Sunday mixes the right amount of both romance and suspense. Catherine throws in surprises that you won’t see coming. From start to finish, this is a book you are not going to want to put down. **Received a copy from Montlake Romance in exchange for an honest unbiased opinion.**

Love a little danger and intrigue mixed in with your romance and seduction? SEDUCED BY SUNDAY, the sixth book Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series is just what you are looking for. Bybee never fails to deliver a smoking hot and mysterious leading man to win the reluctant heart of the sassy and very independent heroine. Seduced by Sunday has the added charm of a smooth Italian lover who owns his own private resort island. Valentino, or Val, Masini is drool-worthy as he steals the heart of Margaret "Meg" Rosenthal, a matchmaker who avoids any thing to do with commitment in her own life. In her words, "I don't do sleepovers". His words, "One of us is going to be very disappointed". I'll leave it for you to read and see which of them it is. Seduced by Sunday had just the right balance of humor, banter, romance, danger and mystery to keep me interested from the first page to the last. I loved Meg! She is strong-willed, sharp-witted, take-charge kind of woman who wraps all that up with her femininity and classy sense of style. This knock-out of a woman kept Val guessing and on his toes. Definitely no pushover, but Val was the perfect man to slip under Meg's defenses and show her what a great team they make. Fans of the series will be glad to see Meg has enlisted Michael to help her research Val's resort as a possible destination for Alliance's client list and he makes good use of his time on the island for a little private time of his own. Another excellent read that makes me even more eager for Val's sister Gabi's story in the last book of the Weekday Brides series, Treasured by Thursday. 4.5 stars ~Complimentary copy received in exchange for a honest review.
