I found this book to be gimmicky. It was the kind of book that said, "If you have a problem, this book will fix it, but if your problem is a little different buy this other book of mine, and this other book of mine, and then it will fix it." While the book did talk about Christ and the cross, it also had some decision theology in it. There are a lot of stories in the book about couples. It is a bit overwhelming. I think that if I found this topic interesting or if I was in a difficult marriage, I might have had an easier time reading this book, but as it was, it just seemed really long and very much a "do this, do that" book. For a couple that is struggling in their marriage, it might be a good read, but do be aware of the decision theology and the heaviness on the Law. I received this book from Bethany Publishing House in exchange for my review.
