In the Bible, Samuel says, “Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening.” It is all too easy for us to say, “Listen, Lord, Your servant is speaking!” Prayer is a foundational need in our Christian lives. Jesus is the great example of what our prayer life should be. He began and ended His public ministry in prayer. It was His daily habit. If He needed it, how much more do we?
