Sex Love Repeat by Alessandra Torre

I love two men. I screw two men. I am in a relationship with them both, and they are both aware there is another. That is all they need to know, that is all I let them know. They don't need to know a name; they don't need to know anything, but that they are not alone in my heart.

They have accepted the situation. Stewart, because his life is too busy for the sort of obligations that are required in a relationship. Paul, because he loves me too much to tell me no. And because my sexual appetite is such that one man has trouble keeping up.

So we exist, two parallel relationships, each running their own course, with no need for intersection or conflict. It works for us, for them, and for me. I don't expect it to be a long-term situation. I know there is an expiration date on the easy perfection of our lives.

I should have paid more attention, should have looked around and noticed the woman who watched it all. She sat in the background and waited, tried to figure me out. Saw my two relationships, the love between us, and the moment that it all fell apart.

She hates me.
I don't even know she exists.
She loves them. I love them.
And they love me.

EVERYTHING else hangs in the balance.

This story is disturbing at many levels and perhaps too sensitive for some readers. The premise is a girl with two parallel sexual relationships, and the idea that she ends up falling for both men. I did not like the concept and almost did not buy the book, except that I have read every book by this author and know well what an amazing writer she is and how she challenges the reader with out of the ordinary relationships. And that's exactly what she does here as well. She develops characters so humane and so relatable despite their f***ed-up lives, that you are pulled into the story from page one and cannot put the book down. You really have to read the book to judge for yourself. It is a different type of erotica, with a complex web of characters and their intertwined life, but in the end it is about love, just not in the context we are accustomed to, but still intense, passionate and real.

Wow ! What a surprisingly good book. I really hesitated to read it because I couldn't imagine liking this heroine under the circumstances. Boy was I wrong. This author is truly talented. Looking forward to her next book.

Having the best of both worlds... This is nothing like anything you’ve read before. It was sexy, romantic and kept you guessing. It was a fantasy of living a dual life, having the best of both worlds. Madison loved two men who are totally different from each other ~ Stewart, the rich and successful man who gave her everything and Paul, the just making it surfer who loves her unconditionally. Both men love Madison, giving her what she needs, never coming in contact with each other and accepting the fact that they are sharing the same woman. The situation works for them until an almost tragedy threatens to tear them apart. This was so far-fetched, but so wonderfully written, that you actually like the characters. You understand Stewart and watch him struggle with not being able to give Madison “more” of himself. He wanted her to have another boyfriend. One who would take care of her and protect her on a daily basis. Paul loves her unconditionally and will do anything for her, even share her, because he doesn’t want to lose her. You will be fascinated by their arrangement and the all the twists and turns and won’t be able to put this book down. The exception…….I loved the ending, and it should have stopped there but I hated the Epilogue! I liked Madison until the Epilogue. It changed the meaning of the book for me and her deceitfulness made their whole relationship and situation a sham, like she was getting some sick enjoyment from pinning them against each other, knowing that the truth would come out eventually.

My rating: 4 of 5 ¿¿ A completely self-assured and bohemian beauty, Madison loves life with abandon. Having experienced  both riches and rags, she makes no excuses for sucking the marrow out of every experience she has. Even her work is something that is choice first and necessity second. Sex is her favorite pastime, her joy, her addiction, and she has no qualms about indulging in what pleases her.  When a crisp new snowfall captures her complete attention on the street one day, she bumps into Stewart, a gorgeous and enigmatic but hardworking professional. He is completely enamoured with her, as she is with him and his voracious appetite for her, but since his devotion to his work does not leave him much time for a 'normal' relationship, Madison is clear she cannot promise exclusivity. Neither of them want to let go of their highly fuelled sexual hunger for each other. Only a few months later, Madison meets Paul, another lover of life, not held back by rules and regulations, and an unending sexual appetite, who is for all intents and purposes Madison's equal. He is the antithesis of Stewart, devoted to Madison and accommodating in all that she needs. Even when, in her need for honesty, she lets Paul know that there is another man who will take up a part of her life. After some initial adjustment, Paul and Madison have an almost normal day to day relationship, except for the occasional night that Madison has 'another engagement'. Madison has always known there would come a point in time where this situation would come to a head. Not something she enjoyed thinking about, she loves them both. They are so different and yet share so many similarities. At some point she would have to make a choice.....unless that choice would be made for her. From the distance a woman watches.....she watches all three of them. She also loves Stewart and Paul. She doesn't love Madison........ ***** What a clever and intensely stimulating story!! Not just with a physical, but also a solid psychological impact.  Although the synopsis may cause you to think that Madison is not necessarily a very likeable person, flitting between two men. She is actually the one who is probably most true to herself and to the people in her life. Yes, she self indulges and she doesn't apologize for it, but she doesn't take what is not freely given and by one well aware of the implications. She doesn't lie, she doesn't beat around the bush. She is honest in her expectations and her desires and expects no more or no less from anyone else. There is not a malicious intent in Madison's thoughts or considerations. She is a pure "take me as I am" kinda girl, living each day as it comes. The men in her life both have an agenda of sorts.  Stewart can't bear the thought of losing Madison, but cannot find it in himself to make any adjustments to his 100-hour work weeks to facilitate a worthwhile relationship. Instead, he finds a way to ensure a place in her life, while she is safely occupied when he tends to his first priority....the one thing truly controllable, his work.  Paul wants her to himself, but he decides to settle for whatever he can get. He learns to deal with 'the other man', but is biding his time, keeping the hope alive that one day she will belong only to him, that she can give him the non-judgemental love he craves.  I thoroughly enjoyed in particular  Madison's character, who seemed almost set free by some of the harsh realities of her upbringing. She did not seem to feel the need to conform to anyone's measure or standard and lived very much 'in the moment', radiating that zest for life to those who came in contact with her. I would have loved to have seen the characters a bit more 'fleshed out', in particular with respect to the underlying relationships that don't come to light until later in the book. It might have explained responses and reactions a little better. A well-written and interesting study in sexual diversion, relationship dynamics and various levels of love.  ¿A clever and provocative balance of odds and chances.¿ **ARC provided in return for an honest review.**

3.5 Stars Be prepared for your e-reader to singe your fingers while holding it and reading Sex Love Repeat by Alessandra Torre! This is my first book by the author and going into it was extremely intrigued by the synopsis. A love triangle with a woman and two men. Not so unusual, you would think. But there's a unique twist - the men know about the other man in her life. But they don't know exactly who the other is. Interesting, yes? This book starts out with some serious steam and doesn't slow down. Madison, Stewart, and Paul have an interesting and very intriguing relationship. I loved seeing the different sides of Madison when with each one of her men, because they were both different. Stewart and Paul were both beyond gorgeous and so off the charts hot, I could see why Madison wanted them both. And then there was Dana. Her part in the story felt very stalkerish in the beginning and I couldn't wait to see how it was all going to go down! And to say I was surprised at a key point is an understatement! What an interesting twist and not what I was expecting at all! I really felt Alessandra Torre handled the varying POVs fairly well. There were a few times I was confused when it jumped from Stewart to Madison or Paul to Madison. She also wove the story together quite well from past to present. I enjoyed how she brought the story together in that way. In the end, I felt like the last part was a bit of a let down and flat. I wanted more drama. Overall, I think the story is unique and a quick, hot, steamy read when you need it.

Enjoyable read, until you took a sympathetic character and ahowed her to be a selfish monster at the end. Ruined the book!

The more this story unfolded the more I understood, and the less I judged. There is so much more to this story than meets the eye. There is rare beauty that blooms in the tale of these three characters. It is selfish, loving, emotional and unpredictable. This story fills you with a range of emotions. It has equal parts of high intense passion, raw truths and soothing comfort. Madison, Paul and Stewart will steal your heart. Alessandra Torre’s writing was very respectful. With a delicate hand she took great care of these characters while she held their hearts in her hands. This is an unconventional love story that was unexpected and devastatingly beautiful.

I always enjoy Alessandra's books and this one definitely doesn't disappoint. At times I cried so hard I couldn't catch my breath. I loved both men. Paul is everything a woman could want in a man and Stewart is too and he is also rich but he doesn't have the ability to love as deeply as Paul. Not where amaddy is concerned. But I think he wants too. The chemistry between Maddy and Paul and Maddy and Stewart is off the charts hot. Stewart is more alpha male than Paul is but Paul definitely has it in him just waiting to spring out. I don't know if I could make the choice if I were her. Stewart did kind of piss me off when he gave up so easily. Maddy should have been first in his heart not work. And the sex with both men is holy freakin wow! I highly recommend this book to everyone.
