Overview

Love in the Afterlife isn't a myth.

He stole the wrong soul. Now she's stuck in Hell with him. Facing insurmountable odds, she's going to die... again. And it's all his fault.

Yara's grandfather always told her ghosts are real, and one in particular has been haunting him his entire life. When a ghost with a grudge steals the wrong soul and drags her to Hell, she's in for the fight of her afterlife.

But there's at least one tiny problem. She's not a fighter.

She has to rely on her grandfather's nemesis for protection while the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

PFC Isaiah Thompson knew why he was in hell. He died hating a man. But if Hell was his punishment for a split-second emotion, he meant to share that with his murderer. However, that's not how fate worked and he's trapped the man's granddaughter who has no business in this afterlife of eternal war. But he can't take her back without destroying her soul.

Even worse? He's falling in love with her.

About the Author

Calia Wilde believes the hero isn’t always the good guy. She believes some heroes and heroines cannot play by the rules to get their happily ever after.

She is a writer of misfits, anti-heroes, villains, underdogs, fringe elements, and other tropes that will likely get her barred from polite society.

As a feral Gen-Xer, she spent numerous hours roaming the woods in search of elves, fairies, dragons, or anything that would take her away from the dreaded curse of doing dishes. She once fell off a wardrobe, but instead of landing in Narnia, a very emphatic order of “Don’t tell Mom” was decreed. In case you are wondering, yes, she did land on her head.

One time in South Dakota, she almost made a devil’s bargain for twenty bucks. She declined as there was fine print regarding the quest that went beyond conquering her fear of heights. But it was there... in that magical realm of booze and foul language, that she came into the possession of her very first item of magical armor... aka, black clothing. The forbidden was in her grasp and became a life-long obsession to avoid anything pastel.

As she searched for a career that would indulge this penchant for wearing black, she stumbled upon the world of special effects and excitedly pursued the art of sleeping in strange hotels, working ungodly hours, and handling anything that could, and would, burn, blind, explode, freeze, or otherwise entertain wildlings like herself.

Her paranormal and biker fiction encompasses untamable heroes and heroines who aren’t always good, because that’s where all the fun lies.
