Shakti and Shâkta

John Woodroffe, born into British-occupied India, was a legal scholar and judge who authored "Shakti and Shakta," a seminal work in Indian philosophy and spirituality. His interest in tantra was sparked by a courtroom experience involving a tantrik sadhu, leading to a lifelong exploration of tantrik and yoga studies.
