Sharing the Gift of Encouragement

It takes feeling encouraged in spirit to share that encouragement with others.

Our world is experiencing a drought of encouraging words, uplifting examples, and genuine expressions of appreciation. Why is it that each of us has such a deep need for encouragement, and yet can find so little of it? Part of the problem is that so few people feel encouraged in their own spirits, and it’s difficult to share something we don’t feel ourselves.
