Shattered Consequences

In 1976, David is a young man in a small town when he befriends the beautiful Mystery. He's drawn to her immediately, and they become the best of friends. Soon, though, his feelings of friendship move toward the romantic. He falls in love with Mystery, but to his utter dismay, his own brother soon steals her heart away.

To escape the pain of his first lost love, David leaves town. He runs away from home, seeking to prove his independence and strength and get away from any memory of Mystery....
