Once more, this Inheritance series delivers. This was a different take, as the main characters circle around each other, first in hate, then finally in love, as a mystery develops around them. I had no clue as to who was trying to kill them, so I had to finish the book quickly to discover what was going on.

Lots of fast-paced action and intrigue and the romantic tension between the hero and heroine was compelling. I adored Jax. Here's this proud military man doing his job day in and day out to make the world safer for the rest of us and the world just keeps crapping in his cornflakes. I spent most of the book not liking Jessa very much. I was very relieved when she was able to grow past her hurt and anger and I was able to like her finally. And the set-up for the next book has me counting down the hours until it's release. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

4.5 Stars The story features Jax Andersson, member of HERO and Jessa McConnell, widow to Ralph McConnell, HERO member KIA. Jessica was so angry and held so much resentment towards Jax that I didn't see ANY future for them. The story was well thought out from beginning to end. The storyline made smooth transitions from one set of emotions to the next. The character development was perfect. I loved it! Jax was a little less emotional than I would have liked but in the bedroom his emotions were perfect. Kind of dark and broody. SMOKIN' HOT! I'm looking forward to the next book by this talented author.

Book exchanged for an honest review~ Jessa McConnell blames Jax Andersson for the death of her husband Ralph and their unborn child. Jessa wants revenge and plans on getting it soon. Jax Andersson, leader of Hero Force, always has to make the tough decisions based on received intel which doesn't always prove to be true. Jax has feelings for Jessa his best friend's wife. Jessa and Jax have one night stand that proves to be too much for the both of them. Jessa wants to escape Jax's hold on her by disappearing which only leads to more trouble for Jessa. Why does Jessa disappear? Can Jax explain his feelings? Will Jessa get her revenge? Your answers await you in Sheltered by the SEAL. This action packed sequel hits the ground running and doesn't stop for anything. The characters and story are compelling, down to earth, gritty, raw, real, complex, and honest. I look forward to more from this series.

This was an amazing book that I throughly enjoyed.

Amy Gamet does not do TAME. Her repertoire consists more of complicated, exciting, emotionally charged explosives. Jessa's life went from complex to downright dangerous in the blink of an eye. Now she has to find a way out of the mess before it costs her the ultimate price. A woman of mystery, a man with a plan, a volatile scenario and a powder keg of secrets lead Jessa and Jax out of the frying pan and into the fire. What a way to shake up a series. Sheltered By The Seal is a thrilling asset to The Inheritance Series .

Oh my, what can I way but that I loved this story! It never ceases to amaze the depth of talent that Ms Gamet pocesses. In this book we have Jesse McConnell, a widow who not only lost her husband, a member of the elite HERO Force , but also her unborn child . She blames HERO for both deaths , especially the leader, Jax Andersson. She meets Jax in a bar for one purpose, and one purpose alone, and when the resulting wish is granted, she is determined to vanish so he can’t find her. Unbeknown to her, her new identity is that of a woman who was murdered due to an inheritance. It is not only a book filled with action, whodunit, suspense, emotions, and two souls who are lost. It is also a story about redemption, forgiveness, a reminder life is short and because of that , we must live it to the fullest and in the moment. And that love really is worth all the ups and downs. So, thank you ,Ms Gamet for sharing your talent with us. Can’t wait to find out what else you have in store for us. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expresses are solely my own.

Sheltered by a SEAL by Amy Gamet Inheritance #12 and HERO Force #2 When you have lost the love of your life and his child, still in your womb, you must go through the five stages of grief before moving on and that is just what Jessa is in the midst of doing. With her anger focused Jax “Ace” Andersson – she has determined he is the one to pay and give her pound of flesh. Poor unsuspecting Jax! One night is all it took for their lives to become entwined though it took a lot longer for them to work their way through the minefield left in the wake of Jax’s divorce, the widowing of Jessa and the hit put out on the inheritor of a seemingly valueless book. I enjoyed this story and having read book one in the HERO Force book liked meeting up with characters in the series. I have to say that I was angry with Jessa during the first half or so of the book but that gradually changed over time. The interactions were intense, the dialogue at times cutting, the emotions intense and the story worth reading. I am not sure that the recuperative powers of both Jax and Jessa would have been as rapid as portrayed in the last bit of the book – not after sustaining the injuries they did – but it is fiction and the two did need a bit of cuddling so – why not fudge a bit. Thank you to the author for the ARC – this is my honest review. 4.5 Stars NOTE: The 5 stages of grief and loss are: 1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance. People who are grieving do not necessarily go through the stages in the same order or experience all of them. (for those that might not know what they are)
