I really enjoyed this book. I've read almost all of her books, and this one isnt 1 of my favorites, but I really did enjoy it. I think it was different and interesting. I was surprized when I read the other reviews, alot of readers didnt like it. I love her England Regency as well as Mideval and also the Wild west ones but this was different and nice. Although it is another country with a different culture, JL makes it very easy to understand everything. She explaines it well and you also learn something. Very romantic, very dramatic...a very nice read ;0) Here are some of my other favorites :

I am a huge fan of Johanna Lindsey. I've read many of her books, and each time, I turned the last page with a smile on my face. That said, Silver Angel isn't one of my FAVORITES. Whenever you read about another culture, especially one as extensive and traditional as the Indian culture, its difficult for you to flow with it at first. I recognized some of the references from my history class, such as, the caste system of ranking positions. But this book was written in such 'Indian' like details, it made it a bit hard for me to follow. Not being as diverse in my cultural understandings, I didn't enjoy the book too much. The characters were OK, and the overall story line was unique and well thought out. I didn't like how contrived the last few chapters were, but as for action and drama, there was ALOT of that in the book. Maybe I am just TOO partial to ENGLAND and the regency time, but this book just didn't do it for me. I did enjoy the action and climax's and OFCORSE the romance. Its not my cup of tea, but its not horrible either. I didn't work for my picky taste, but you may think differently. Give it a read!!

I'm a big Johanna Lindsey fan and that is the only reason why I finished this book because I wanted to set it down forever. They didnt even meet until half way through the book! I like to re read a lot of my books but this one is not going to be one of them. I feel like it could have been a lot better.
