Overview

Finally, Ann and Tom have some time for themselves. Their friends and families are busy with their own affairs, so now is the perfect time to resume the couple's honeymoon. So, they jump into the Porsche with no particular plans, except to revisit the Courtside Inn where their story began. A retired life of love and travelling is the only agenda.

Back home, Maude and Bill are trying to figure out how to incorporate parenting-book advice into Anabel's and Willie's upbringing. Grace is hoping to find the right career path...and young man. And Reverend Peters is praying to open the daycare center without parishioner bloodshed.

Where are Ann and Tom when you need them?!

About the Author

Leon W. Blank grew up primarily in Toledo, Ohio, attending Central Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, after which he served two years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army in France during the 1950s. On the GI bill, he completed a Masters of Science degree, also in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Michigan. He held various engineering positions for 20 years, then spent another 20 years as a corporate officer in manufacturing/engineering firms. He also spent five years as a management consultant. His career took him from Buffalo, New York, to Chicago; Appleton, Wisconsin; Columbus, Ohio; and Florence, South Carolina. He has been married to his wife for over fifty years and they have three adult children, two grandchildren and usually a schnauzer. Lee is now retired, except for writing.

Denise Blank is the eldest daughter of Lee and grew up between Grand Island, New York and outside Chicago. Like her dad, she attended Notre Dame, but in the College of Arts and Sciences, earning a double B.A. in Theatre and English. She also holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from Indiana University, and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. She is a professional actor and educator, having designed curricula and taught at all age levels for roughly two decades. She also gained business acumen from temp work that turned into IT and change management consulting for four years. Arts management is her current focus. Writing has been a constant (albeit unpublished) interest for her since being introduced to a monstrous, manual, Royal typewriter at the age of three (Mom took dictation).
