About the Author

Posy Roberts writes about the realistic struggles of men looking for love. Whether her characters are family men, drag queens, or lonely men searching for connections, they all find a home in her stories.

Posy is married to a man who makes sure she doesn't forget to eat or sleep. Her daughter, a budding author and dedicated Whovian, helps her come up with character names. When Posy's not writing, she enjoys crafting, hiking, and singing spontaneously about the mundane, just to make normal seem more interesting.

When I realized that both MC’s had major medical issue’s I have to say, I wanted to throw the book back in the pile. I’m just not a fan, of two MC’s playing ‘one up’s me’ with medical conditions. However, with that being said, 250 plus pages later, I was pleased with the book. But, yes I’ll be more careful picking up another one by this author. First we have Gil, who was a family law attorney until tragedy struck when one of the fathers didn’t like the outcome of the court case. Now Gil is suffering from major PTSD, now has a mediocre job living at home with his mum. Keith, also dealing a major issue after an ill fated wrong place wrong time happened. Now several operations later, he’s no closer to being 100 percent. What I enjoyed most about this book is that both charaters had lots of time apart, while Gil is healing, unfortunately, Keith is getting worse. But then we couldn’t have both charaters at there worst who would look at them. I liked the way we got to see the steps forward and backward Gil took to get to his end place. Which we found wasn’t perfect but was better. And the people around him willing to help. And Keith, knowing he was not getting any better, but wanting to be strong for Gil. Then finding in the end they can and will be strong together. I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review by Crystals Many reviews
