5 star If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Surrender (Devil's Den, #1) Seduction (Devil's Den, #2) This is Macey and Joshua’s story. Joshua is the new manager of The Devil’s Den.  Can he test all the things he thinks will work before getting his own place?  Macey does not need to work but she enjoys dancing.  But only if the people keep their hands off of her.  With both of them losing faith in relationships can they take a chance on each other?  Can they really trust each other?  Or will Bishop mess up everything they both never knew they could want and have? I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

I’ve really enjoyed this whole series. The books are all standalones but it is really fun to read them in order, it give the characters have some more depth.  First, let me just say, this book is, melt your panties into a puddle, HOT. Violetta Rand knows how to write the steamy deliciousness! The chemistry between Joshua and Macey is off the charts, the sexual tension was filling the air around me straight off of the pages. Joshua is divine. Seriously, that boy, I hate to say it, blows the sex appeal of Garrick and Craig out of the water. He’s got an Ivy League education, looks like sex in a suit, he’s open minded, wealthy, possessive, and loves hard. Joshua knows almost immediately that he and Macey have something special and he goes out guns a blazing to convince her to give them a shot.  Macey has a rough history, one that’s left her jaded and determined to protect herself from anything that could make her vulnerable. She is complex, confident and sure of herself, mixed with insecurity and defeat. She knows, almost from the moment she meets him, that Joshua has the ability to break through her walls.  Macey and Joshua are able to find common ground and a certain level of trust, because both of them have just been screwed by their significant others. Their relationship isn’t easy to maneuver with their exes both determined to get them back, and a guy with bad blood between him and Joshua is sniffing around Macey. This author knows how to write characters that you love and hate. I was actually quite sorry to say goodbye to Macey and Joshua, but their HEA is sweet and left me with a smile.  There are two reasons that I couldn’t give this book 5 stars. One of the things I LOVED about this story was the way that Macey and Joshua handled being confronted with situations that could’ve been misinterpreted and given them reason to assume and run from the relationship. They stood back and looked at it objectively, seeing what is really happening instead of what the first impression makes it look like. So, when one of those situations is escalated, this time one of them is quick to accept what it looks like, without taking the time to see if there might be another explanation. After the other incidences, this didn’t seem as believable to me. It also tainted my opinion of that character a little bit. The second thing is small, but enough that it bothered me. Wesley is Garrick’s best friend and he is a major douche. After reading Surrender, I just loved Garrick, so to see Wesley’s true nature in this book, it didn’t make sense to me. Garrick is supposed to be a good judge of character and a steady, good guy. It just didn’t jive for me, especially when Garrick doesn’t seem to take him to town over it. It’s clear that he doesn’t approve of Wesley’s actions, but I would have expected someone of his character to drop that monumental jackass.  Those things aside, there is a possibility that this book could end up on my re-read list, if I’m in the right mood. It was a really quick read, the story always flowing and keeping me interested. The Devil’s Den series books are smart, sexy, sweet, and intriguing. I recommend reading all three books!

I’ve read each of the books in this series, waiting for Macey’s story. Sin by Violetta Rand manages to frustrate and confuse me, but I can’t stop reading!  Macey has returned from a short vacation where she discovered her boyfriend was cheating. She’s not too heartbroken over it, at least not enough to miss the instant reaction to the new manager, Joshua.  Everyone at  the club is chafing at the turnover in management, and Joshua is trying to learn all he can, while juggling the  personalities and already-solid relationships within the staff.   Macey is described as smart: I’m not entirely sold. Perhaps it’s her age, or issues, or the fact that this is solidly  NA and characters still haven’t really developed any common sense. But, she is funny and headstrong and loyal to the other girls, even as she is only a hairsbreadth away from a train wreck.  And, she is FUN to read  about – that guilty pleasure that you shouldn’t enjoy but do.   Joshua is an Ivy League grad, a major juxtaposition, the good boy testing the waters and he believes that Macey may be his key to learning all there is to know.  Still reeling from his own bad breakup and issues he  hadn’t yet resolved, he wants Macey on his side to help ease the acceptance of his rules, but he just can’t  fight that attraction.   Similar in plotting arc to the earlier books in the series, Rand uses the banter and attraction, mixes in some angst and unresolved feelings, a dash of insta-lust that morphs into love and shakes it all up.  The conflict that  drove much of the miscommunications and dramatics was a typical ‘everyone in your business’ sort of moment, with both Joshua and Macey too headstrong and unable to pull their own heads out of their own personal dramas to see the manipulations for what they were. Talking TO one another, rather than assuming  the worst would have helped; and then I remembered that they are working in the sex trade, where both would have seen duplicity and manipulation consistently. I just hoped for a sharper angle for growth for both of them individually, before they decided that they were meant to be.  A bit of a rollercoaster ride for me, this series has its frustrating moments in story construct and character  development – but the emotional context and the heat are always a highpoint and almost sizzle off the pages.   Violetta Rand can write sexy, with a great build up and an even more explosive ending, and this series has all of those moments.   I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Sin has passion, excitement, desire and a love story you won’t be able to resist. Sometimes love doesn’t always come in the package you expect. It takes just the right person to see past your walls and be able to break them down. Macey Taylor works at the Devil’s Den strip club she likes her life and has no plans to change her path. She’s a smart, independent, tough chick, but even tough girls get their hearts broken. When Macey’s boyfriend breaks up with her and shatters her faith in relationships, she decides she’s done with men. Upon her return from her vacation, she finds things have changed at the Devils Den there’s a new boss with strict rules and an Ivy League degree. She doesn’t have the time or the patience for his employee handbook she would rather hit him over the head with it than read it. However, there’s something about Joshua Camden and his gorgeous face that has her feeling things she swore she would never feel again. Joshua Camden is going to turn the Devil’s Den into the best strip club in Texas if it’s the last the thing does. He won’t let anyone stand in his way not his ex-fiancée’s cheating or the feisty dancer Macey Taylor, who is determined to get under his skin. She is nothing like any woman he has ever met before he finds her sarcastic wit and feisty demeanor refreshing. He also can’t help but notice she is sexy as hell he wants to get to know every delicious inch of her body and maybe her mind too. She surprises him at every turn she makes him want to risk his heart again. Can he trust her not to break it? Sin is the third book in the Devil’s Den series and I thought it was one of the better ones. I was curious about Macey’s story from when we meet in her book one. She intrigued me with her sassy attitude and fierce loyalty to her friends. The story line has the instant love that the other two books had but that’s okay with me, it’s a fictional love story after all and a very good one at that. Macey’s childhood was not the best she lost her mother at a very young age and then abandoned by her father. The only thing he ever did for her left her money from his gambling winnings as a professional card player. Daddy of the year he was not. Macey always had to look after herself and she did it well, on occasion letting her guard down like when she sort of feel for Wesley the cowboy who ends up breaking her heart. When Macey meets up with Joshua Camden on her first day back at the Devil’s Den, sparks fly immediately. The chemistry between these two characters was off the charts sexy. He pursues her relentlessly no matter how much she tries to push him away. He wants to show her that he wants her for more than just a one-night stand he wants to give the long haul a shot. Joshua never thought he would feel this way again, but Macey brings it out in him. Thrown into the mix is Joshua’s neighbor and longtime family enemy Bishop. Bishop is attracted to Macey and tries to break them up at every turn I wasn’t too crazy about that part of the story. Suddenly Macey is indecisive about what she wants because of a little attention from a guy she barely knows. In the end, he turns into a treasured friend and I realized why the author added him to the story. Just when it seems that Macey and Joshua could really make a go of it, Joshua’s ex-fiancée tries to win him back. There was a lot of the usual angst we read in our romance novels, but it was good, I cried I laughed I got mad. A story that really brings out the emotions in me always gets to me. I really enjoyed the banter between Macey and Joshua they really were a great match for each other. The sex scenes are well written and thought out, as were the scenes when Macey and Joshua laid their feelings out on the line. Overall, I thought it was a great addition to the series, I definitely recommend reading the other two books before reading this one so you can get a better understanding of Macey’s character. I will be looking forward to reading more from Violetta in the future. ** RECEIVED AN ARC FROM NETGALLEY IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

My Thoughts: I've seen other books in the Devil's Den series around, but didn't pick any of them up even though I was intrigued. When I finally got one of them, I was swept away in a hot romance that hits all the right spots. Macey was perfection as a heroine. She isn't some weakling or pushover, she's strong and knows what she wants. When Joshua comes into the picture, it's only a matter of time before the two of them fall together. They can't get enough of each other. While they fulfill their desires, there are others trying to pull them away. Both of them are determined not to let anyone get between them, but sometimes certain things happen that mess up the best of intentions. Are each of them strong enough to seek out the truth? Sin is a super sexy thrill ride of a novel. The steam and romance held me all the way to the end. My only issue is the conflict--it was so obvious to me what really happened but the characters were too headstrong and immediately assumed the worst. Other than that little thing, I thought the story was great and I'd like to read the rest by Violetta Rand. My Rating: Very Good

Rand brings the Devil’s Den to life in such a vivid manner that I really feel as if I’ve been there. She brings the world of dancers to life, showing that there’s so much more to it. Rand takes us deep into the lives of her characters, allowing us to experience every aspect of their lives. Pain and loss combine with romance and hope in a fantastic manner that kept me hooked.  Finding out more about Macey’s history makes her so much more of a palatable & understandable character. The contrast between her and Joshua proves that opposites definitely do attract. Rand’s writing has a natural flow that mirrors the characters’ thoughts. The raw, gritty lives of the characters are really brought out through it. The tension, understanding, and need in this relationship is off the charts. It’s contagious. The supporting cast really fills out this story well. I may have an epic dislike for the exes in this one, but Bishop is off the charts. His creepy vibe put him on my ‘watch’ list from the get-go.  This was a fantastic addition to Rand’s Devil’s Den series. I loved getting this closer look at Marcy’s life. Seeing her come out of her pain and suffering, accepting herself was just the tip of the iceberg in this fantastic tale.  Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book in the Devil's Den series. It can be read as stand alone but I suggest reading them in order. My favorite is still the first book though I have truly liked each of them. The leading lady is Macey. She is fun, caring, smart, and wild (or at least she appears to be). She went on a vacation and came back to find everything has changed with her boyfriend and job. Her jerk of a boyfriend is not as great as she thought. The Devil's Den has a new owner and he is making changes that the dancers are not happy with. She meets Joshua, our leading man and her new boss, and sparks fly. This one is full of steam and romance along with agendas, secrets, great characters, two not so great characters, a strip club, and drama. I am loving this series and I look forward to reading more from this talented author. I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion. It was tremendous!

Macey is a dancer at a strip club, who goes on vacation/break and comes back to find Wesley, her boyfriend, cheating!! To top things off when she goes to work, there's a new manager. Here, Joshua come into the story line...he also was cheated on by his ex and boy does he have an attitude against women! This story has alot of different things going on between Macey, Wesley, Josh and Julia. I have not read the other books, so it was hard, at first, to get the story. I enjoyed this book so much, I'll go back and catch up!

Loving this series! Macey gets back from 6 week vacation only to learn that her boyfriend is cheating on her. She goes back to work at the Devil’s Den were she is a stripper and meets the sexy new manager. Plenty of drama and lots of suspense. The chemistry between Joshua and Macey is hot! The book had me hooked from beginning to end! Although this is a part of a series it can be read as a stand-alone. Entertaining, sexy and suspenseful! Great Read!

The Devil's Den ... from a strip club to a refined gentlemen's club? Is this possible? Joshua Camden comes in full of ideas as the new manager of the club and fully expects to test his ideas here before branching out and creating his own. Macey is the unknown factor. She is a mystery to those who do not know her. Why work at a strip club if you do not need to work? This is her outlet... dancing. As long as the men keep their slimy hands to themselves, she has no problem showing that she is as talented as she is beautiful. I read this book and could not believe how much I enjoyed it. This is my first book by this author and I loved her writing style. The plot line was also believable, a rarity sometimes in this genre, which added interest to the story. I will be picking up more titles by this author to see if she is to become one of my favorites.

What a hot, sexy, and exhilarating ride Sin was! Joshua and Macey compliment one another and have a deep rooted need for each other. I loved seeing from both of their views. Macey has a ton of issues stemming from her childhood. Joshua has his own that stem from his cheating ex-fiancé.  Macey comes back from Europe to a new boss and a cheating boyfriend she makes an ex. She shouldn't be and doesn't want to be attracted to her new boss. Joshua just makes it so hard to resist him, especially when he shows he cares about her. Joshua doesn't expect Macey to have the impact she does on him and can't help but pursue her. The story weaves through exes that can't let go, jealousy, falling in love, and finding the person that is right for you. The writing allows for the reader to easily get lost in the words on the page. The characters are charming and quite modern. The story line is engaging and wraps up with a happy ending.

Violetta Rand has written another steamy romance! SIN is the third book in theDevil's Den series and tells the story of Macey and Joshua. Headstrong and smart, Macey comes back from vacation to meet her new manager at the Devil's Den, the man is so sexy that temptation is hard to resist. But this new boss has strict rules, and Macey loves to break them. The chemistry between these two is hot and wild. The moment they meet, seduction and passion will be their game. Will this chemistry flare sparks to ignite a wild passion? Violetta Rand didn't disappoint me, she has done it again with this sexy read.
