Since You've Been Gone

It has been almost four years since my mother died. The emotional tangle that I have found myself wrapped up in has changed me in profound ways. Those first few months were numb yet raw at the same time and I found myself writing as a way to cope with the overwhelming feelings that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere.
