About the Author

Phil Bookman grew up in Seaford, New York, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Lois. He has degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Adelphi University and Santa Clara University. Lois and Phil reside in Los Gatos, California and have lived in Silicon Valley since 1974. Phil had a long career as a software entrepreneur, starting a number of successful software companies.

A lover of mystery novels, Phil decided the world needed a mystery series set in Silicon Valley and featuring a high tech CEO hero. Thus came the Mike Gold Mystery Series. Mike is a great tech CEO, but trouble seems to find him with alarming regularity. Phil's life is not nearly as exciting as Mike's.
