Keegan was forcd into civilian life after a serious incident left him damaged. When the call comes to action, he has the chance to help his brothers in arms. Being attracted to a sexy little waitress is a distraction he can't afford, but stuff happens and they are in the middle of it. I really enjoyed this addition to the Sleeper Seals world. The plot was well designed and relevant to our real world status with a likeable cast of characters. I highly recommend it.

Really enjoying this whole new sleeper series. First book I've read by Ms McGraw, but will be reading more of her books. The Deep Six Security series looks interesting and will probably be my next read. Recommend. Mjw

Slow Ride by Becky McGraw is outstanding! Ms McGraw has once again delivered a well-written book and loaded it with amazing, lovable characters. Keegan is a former SEAL recovering from an injury recruited for secret missions. Jules is a sassy, feisty undercover FBI agent. When their missions collide, madness and mayhem take over. Ms McGraw gets an A+ from me for her characters and dialog in this story. Slow Ride has plenty of action, suspense, humor and sexy bits to keep readers glued to their e-readers. I loved this book and look forward to reading my next book by the fabulous Becky McGraw. Slow Ride is book 2 in the Sleeper SEALs Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Slow Ride is the second book in the Sleeper SEALS book series, but it can be read as a standalone, it is the story of Lt. Commander Keegan MacDonald and Jules Lawson. Keegan is recently retired from the SEAL teams because of an injury to his shoulder, and he is definitely not happy about it. For the time being he is working in his Uncle's motorcycle shop, until he gets a call to participate in some dark ops mission for a CIA counter-terrorism unit. That call just makes his day, and his first job puts him up against Jules Lawson, who is trying to make a place for herself in the counter intelligence division. Keegan doesn't need the distractions and Jules doesn't need his help, or that is what she keeps telling herself. For two people that don't need one another, they sure find themselves in a lot of situations that would have ended differently if they didn't have each others six. This book is loaded with action, drama, suspense, romance, humor, and passion. The plot is well developed and it is fast paced. I loved the other characters in the book especially Uncle Bob and Louise, they are a real hoot of team. I highly recommend this book, so you can see what I mean when I say that Keegan has found his rudder!!

This fantastic book 2 in the Sleeper SEAL's series features Keegan MacDonald and Jules Lawson. The constant bantering between these two is hilarious. They had a difficult start because they're both so jaded from their past. It's obvious they are attracted to each other but not sure they can trust each other. They're also both so stubborn, almost to their detriment. He's the sexy, lost SEAL and she's CIA looking to right the wrongs of 9/11. At the moment his shoulder injury prevented him from helping his team, I could almost feel how useless he felt. It must be heart wrenching for SEAL to not be able to do his job. This is an action-packed romance and I'm excited to see where this series leads.

Keegan, a retired SEAL, is working at his uncle's bike shop when he gets a call. He's recruited by a "secret" CIA black ops group and is assigned an undercover, solo mission at the Lily Pad. The government believes that's where secrets are being sold to the highest bidder. Since being discharged due to a shoulder injury, Keegan feels useless and wants to do something that matters. So he jumps on the offer. Jules, an undercover agent, has one agenda. She's made it her life's mission to avenge the deaths of her family who perished directly and indirectly at the hands of 9-11 terrorists. Jules trained hard, worked a desk job, and was finally assigned a job that can help her accomplish her goals. What she doesn't need is a distraction like Keegan. Ultimately, they realize they are working towards the same goal so they decide to collaborate to apprehend the terrorists. Working together leads to shared losses, dreams, and secrets. They soon realize they may not be able to walk away once the mission is over. Becky McGraw writes romantic suspense effortlessly. The novel was action packed, had "feels", and kept me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't able to put it down once I started reading. Keegan and Jules were a joy. I loved Keegan's aunt and uncle too! A truly enjoyable read. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

"Slow Ride" (Sleeper SEALS Book 2) by Becky McGraw is a fantastic read. I loved Keegan and Jules' story! I'd been anxious to find out what would happen with Keegan after meeting him in "Hell Bent" (Deep Six Security Book 3). I was definitely not disappointed. This is another great story from Becky McGraw, packed with action, drama, romance, passion, humor, entertaining and interesting characters, hot military guys, and more. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, action, and military.

Another great book from a talented writer. I loved this book. There is plenty of action, drama, suspense, heat, and intrigue. The characters have depth and are well developed. I loved the spark and chemistry between the main characters. The plot keeps the readers interest from start to finish. If you like hunky and strong heroes and heroines you will like this book. This is the second in a series and I can't wait to read the others.

This is book 2 of a series based on a group of retired Navy Seals recruited by the government to work solo black ops missions. The common thread will be their commander, Greg Lambert. This one gives us Keegan MacDonald , a SEAL that is still dealing with the fact that an injury has caused his retirement and he blames a woman for it. He is now working in a motorcycle garage with his uncle, an ex-Army Ranger. But this new life lacks what he wants, action. So when he is offered a mission , he jumps at the offer. Jules is working as a waitress in a strip joint where Keegan is working undercover as a bouncer. But is she really just a waitress, or is she working for the enemy or another alphabet entity? A relationship develops between Jules and Keegan but each has a different view on life and love. One doesn’t want love or a woman to interfere in his career and adrenaline high, and the other one chooses not to love for fear of losing that loved one. Will they find a HEA or will their fears inhibit them to ever experience full love? And will the terrorist destroy what could be a future for these two? The story is full of action, bad guys, terrorist, hunky good guys, and strong characters. Can’t wait to read another of the books in this series. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
