There is an urgent need for a flexible Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery security program in today's technology and information environments. This is an update of the book that was published in July 2019, with the updated format, and information that includes policy template and example, plus SOC reporting. This cybersecurity program is designed to fit any business-specific needs, allowing the business to rapidly recover from most all disasters or cyber-attacks, the best use of Cloud and MSSP service providers, supplying continuous availability. The security program requirements must cover disaster recovery, data backup & protection, cyber resiliency, continuity with minimal downtime, and a robust but flexible security framework. Also, providing businesses with resilience and peace of mind that their organization's sensitive data is safe and secure. This book will use a hypothetical company as an example that easily correlates with the topics within this book and allows non-technical readers to understand the details.

About the Author

My name is Mark Nadeau, and I could say that high-tech and information systems have been a part of my life, work, and education as far back as I can remember. Now, this was before the smart cell phones, LCD screens, and fast computers became a part of our everyday lives, so I can safely say I have been a part of the age of information and technology! These and many other techniques were incorporated into the business and government sectors early in my career. I remember my first computer was the Atari 12 back in the '80s while I was in the Marines and stationed overseas in Okinawa Japan Camp Hansen, so I have experienced many technological changes first-hand. At the same time, I worked my way through school. American society and the world have certainly come a long way!

My educational background includes an AAS in Electronics Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, an MBA in Global Management, and a Master of Science in Cyber Security. I have been contracting on information technology jobs for ten years and working in the high-tech industry for 23 years. My recognition of this book goes to Grand Canyon University's (GCU) great cybersecurity Master of Science program. I am currently in the CTU Doctoral of Computer Science in Cybersecurity IA program starting June 2019. My book is designed to help small and medium businesses set up their own cybersecurity program without the high cost of developing security for their company designed to fit any business-specific needs. This is my first book published on Barnes & Noble Press and with the help of www.online-convert.com that will convert PDF to ePub Book, I found that the publication was much more simplified than publishing on Amazon. I plan to publish the paperback next week for those that love hard copies.
