About the Author

Kristen Ashley is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She grew up in Indiana, but has lived in Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she's been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least), but loopy is good when you want to write.

Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, living in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

I have not read one book by Kristen Ashley that I absolutely did not love. In the beginning my heart hurt for Amelia and what she was going though with her kids. It killed me and Mickey being an ass didn't help. But the strength Amelia shows by picking up the pieces and moving forward in her life is very inspiring. I cannot wait to see what's gonna happen in the next book!

Top 5 in my KA collection....Amy and Mickey are sublime. From the beginning when Amy hit rock bottom to Mickey dealing with an ex with addiction. This will be on my rereading list

Kristen Ashley is a born storyteller. She creates family, friends and neighbors; a community for us to join. I love her work. She truly is an author that I purchase without even reading the synopsis. That being said: Soaring is lengthy and still I didn't want it to end. I was completely caught up in Amelia's life. Her struggles to re-invent herself into the person she wants to be, reconnect with her children and find happiness and contentment within herself...but also finding a soul deep love on the way. Soaring is another amazing, emotional, heartwarming but also utterly seductive story by Ashley.

Soaring is another wonderful story by Kristen Ashley. I loved Amelia, and how she handled the struggle to change herself and her life. I don't want to give anything away, but I highly recommend this book, and this series.

I always love Kristen's books. I think I have read everything she has written. Some I read over and over. This one is not my favorite, but I will re-read it also. The ones that aren't my favorite, I find I like them better the second time. Please keep writing, P.S. My favorite of all is KNIGHT. I'm not sure how many times I have read it.

Another Scorching Hot Romance!!!   Love KA always.  Her Magdalene heroes are a little different in that they have baggage that keeps them from the instant alpha claiming her usual guys do, but once they commit they are KA alphas thru and thru!  I especially appreciated the classic KA length of Soaring and The Will - VERY SATISFYING!   Can't wait for Coert's story.

This book was about the same as every other Kristen Ashley book I've read but I'm about to go get another one. Just because every potato chip tastes the same doesn't mean you only enjoy the first one. It's a delicious formula for a slightly raunchy love story and I can't wait to bite into another one!

As with all of KA's books I enjoyed this immensely... I actually read it twice back to back because I was afraid I might have missed something  the first go through I read it so fast.   Ms. Ashley's books manage to be realistic, humorous, heartbreaking and honest.... I cannot wait for whatever comes next...
