About the Author

Colleen Olle writes literary fiction and children’s picture books. She earned an MFA in fiction from the Bennington College Writing Seminars and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP), and the California Writers Club—San Francisco Peninsula Branch.

She grew up in southeast Michigan and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, coauthor of the children’s picture book Sophia and Sinclair Go on an Adventure!

Marcy Tippmann is a graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati and has worked as a professional illustrator for eighteen years. She most enjoys drawing animals who act like people. In her spare time, she loves to cook, garden, kayak, and hunt with her dogs for wild mushrooms in the forests of Oregon.
