Soulmate?: Have You Really Found the ?One?? by Allan James Miller

Soulmate? Have You Really Found the ‘One’? is a short researched narrative book dedicated to immediately unhinging the ridiculous notion that there is only one person born on this earth who is meant to be with you. In fact, there are many potentials out there, and I’m glad of it, because if there were indeed only one, what a sad state of affairs that would be.

This book is meant to contradict the silly notion that, upon birth, there is one and only one special person who is designed for you, and who is meant to share each and every waking and sleeping moment with you, forever and amen. This type of thinking leads to complete desperation and clinginess on your part if you believe in the ‘one’, and probable torture for the potential partner you have your eyes fixated upon.

[ Agh! Terrible typos in the last part! The girl's name is supposed to be Daedi&#228<_>r, not Daedi&#228. And I forgot to put a #. . . O.o Onto Kaida, though. . . >:D ]
&nbsp Kaida nearly fell from his perch; his heartbeat quickened and his skin prickled.
&nbsp He turned slowly, as to not fall off. When he finally turned, he sat face-to-face with a dark-haired girl.
&nbsp "Hi," she quipped, "Name's Valari."
&nbsp "Uhhhh. . ." Kaida was halted by her forwardness.
&nbsp "What's your name. . . ?" She prompted.
&nbsp "K-Kaida. . ." He stammered, scooting back a bit. His tried to look away, but her golden eyes caught his gaze like a fly in honey.
&nbsp She smiled, her teeth a wall of pearly white. "Nice to meet ya'."
&nbsp "'Scuse me. . ." Bud called, leaning forward on his beam, trying to see Valari clearer.
&nbsp Valari turned and flashed him a grin. "Hi! You a friend of Kaida?"
&nbsp "Uhm, yeah. My name's Bud. . ." Bud murmured slowly, his eyes glazed.
&nbsp Valari giggled and winked at Bud. "Your friend's cute." She glanced at Kaida once more before brushing past him and running down the beam, as agile as a cat.
&nbsp Kaida looked at Bud, shell-shocked. "What in the Heavens. . .?"
[ Sorry for the shortness! I got to go now!!!! ~ NRM ]
