The Mireets have been plying the cosmos for several thousand years. The massive and almost random evacuation of their planet of origin just prior to its cataclysmic destruction, resulted in many uncoordinated 'colonies.' One of the few colonies to survive and flourish one established on a small planet in a distant orbit of the sun we know as Regulus, in the Leo Constellation.
