But now, trapped on a mountain of snow and things unspoken, Mona will have to find a way to coexist with Abram, chaos and all.

This is the 2nd book in the series. This takes place 2 years after the first book. Mona and abram come into contact again when they both end up vacationing at the same place. All is not well but they manage to talk through all their misconceptions about their week they spent together in the first book. Lots of great characters and angst ensue. Loved this book and love this author. She does write smart romance!

Oh wow what a read! Continuing physicist Mona DaVinci and musicians Abram Harris's story will have you on the edge of your seat. Book two takes you to a time over two years later and we are met with answers and more angsty moments that have you wanting and anticipating for more. We also get a look of the life of Mona and Abram when they were separated. Growing up and making more of themselves in their chosen careers. Before kicking off to new experiences in their life they unexpectedly meet again in Mona's vacation home in Aspen. Mona's plans for quiet and relaxation is thrown out the window. Holy smokes the chemistry and connection between the two of them are still there; however, wondering if the truth is known by the other will affect the situation and whether if all was a lie is the question when it came to that unforgettable week. There are moments that will have you cringing, aching, and of course hoping. Just when you think there is time to explore for more we are left with another cliffy that will have you breaking and questioning the future. This book series thus far was more than I had expected and I am sooo looking forward to reading more.

The first book in this series was a tad lukewarm for me, I just didn’t love it. Well after reading Space, let me tell you, my thoughts have changed, for the better. This installment of the series was straight up addictive. I flipped through the pages in record time and then BAM! Another cliffhanger. Holy frijole I am so stoked to finish this series now. Hurry the hell up part 3! I’m on pins and needles here. Mona and Abram are killing me. ~ A Hopeless Romantic’s Booklandia, 5 Stars

3.5~4 stars If you haven’t read the first book in the trilogy then I suggest you do that! Onwards to the review. We met Mona and Abram and in the last book we were all waiting for the fall out that would once happen when Abram finds out that Mona has been pretending to be her sister. And it does and we are left with nervousness and anticipation to what will come next. Now more than 2 years have past since those events but our protagonist are even with all their accomplishments are stuck in a limbo and all emotions that resurface once they are face to face again. I’m not a huge fan of angst but I guess mixed with Penny Reid’s humour and unique style…I did enjoy it. However I because I was frustrated at times and it made my enjoyment of the book pretty low along with several want to smack some people of the heads moments. I guess because I had such high expectations I felt slightly let down. I did like the fact that we get both their POVs and we see Abram’s longing for Mona while Mona is just the dorky perhaps too caring girl we fell for in the last book. We also see Martin and Kaitlyn (From hypothesis 1) which was lovely!! I enjoyed the moments that Mona and Abram had, the chemistry and the tension their story has, has kept me engrossed and I’m (IM)patiently waiting for the next book.

Space by Penny Reid is the second book in her three-part Laws of Physics series. The continuation of the story of Mona and Abram and all the feels in between hate and lust and love! A couple of years have passed for Mona since the week she spent pretending to be her sister and getting her heart broken as a result. Her once-strained relationship with her twin, Lisa, and her ex-best friend Gabby has come a long way and she is happy about that but still sad over how things played out at the end of that week she will never forget. Heading for a vacation with her best friend Allyn to her parents "huge estate compound mansion lodge" in Aspen she arrives expecting a quiet week snowed in as usual but arrives to find her brother Leo and his band friends are also there for a visit. One friend in particular knocks her for a loop - Abram! Good Grief! The emotion and angst that this second book literally wrenched out of my soul is overwhelming. I am well and truly whelmed. Second chance romance trope is my fave and this continuation of Mona and Abrams tale fell right into that. Misunderstandings abound, blame is placed, apologies are given. Honesty is shouted into existence and all the feels are felt. I am so anxiously awaiting the final book, Time! Wow! Ending on a cliffhanger this book is not for anyone looking for a steamy romance with immediate gratification. This is a slow burn filled with obstacles, inner-monologues, internal battles waging for what is right and what is fair and learning they aren't always the same. This is a deeply involved story that slowly builds the characters, the background story, and the emotions of the characters as it goes. It pulls you in deeper and deeper with each sentence. I have loved every Penny Reid book I have read so far and, big surprise, this is no different. If you don't enjoy cliffhangers then you may want to wait until all three books are released but you still, absolutely, should read this. Enjoy!

5 Stars - Absolute perfection in book form... but for the cliffy I read Space in more or less one sitting and once I started it, I had to force myself to put it down. Now, a warning to those readers who cry (like me), if you don’t want to show puffy eyes to the outside world, you better have a box of Kleenex and a few hours to recuperate after finishing. Man! This book slew me. It was a freaking roller coaster of feelings with ups and downs, upside flips that had my tummy fluttering and free falls that had me clenching my fists and threatening bodily harm to my kindle. Space takes place two and a half years after that fated week when Mona’s entire existence was flipped on its axis after she met Abram. Both changed after the experience, Mona is finally able to present herself to him as well… herself instead of pretending to be Lisa. Stuck in the same house for a whole week, the feelings that were put in Motion (see what I did there? Ha!) after their time together will be put to the test. I loved this book as hard as I completely hated some things that happened. I was tempted to take a picture of all the tissues I went through as a visual aid to how involved with the story and connected to the characters I was… but then thought it might be kinda gross… In Space, with the PoV of the story shifting from him to Mona, we finally get to be in Abram’s head, which made this absolute perfection. Abram is the sweetest, most tender sexy badass musician I’ve ever read about and he had me melting into a puddle of goo even when I wanted to hate him for being a jerk (though it was totally warranted). His insights about Mona along with her subsequent revelations broke my heart time and again, with Abram swooping in to sooth the hurt away. Really, these two together were sweet, hot, adorkable and cute. Sometimes all four at the same time. I completely and utterly LOVED EVERY FREAKING THING ABOUT THIS BOOK, except the fact that it’s the second part in a trilogy. Now I have to wait another WHOLE FREAKING MONTH before getting the highly anticipated end to this epic love story. Seriously, what the hell was I thinking? *insert uber tantrum gif here* I don’t care if you’re waiting for all the parts of this story to be out before reading it or you’re just masochistic like me and reading it as it comes out I can 100% guarantee this is a story you don’t want to miss. *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*

It’s been two years since Mona has seen Abram and for their first meeting to be at her parent’s cabin while he is there with her brother Leo and a group of his friends is more than she can bear. All she wanted was some down time and to have him so close but yet so far brings up all the feelings that she has buried since she saw him last. After the way that the week he spent with Mona ended he feels betrayed and isn’t about to let her forget it. He wants to cause her pain but at the same time the love he feels for her is stronger than ever and balancing the two is becoming harder. Their plans to stay away from each other go up in smoke as they are drawn to each other like magnets. Abram’s musical career has taken off, in large part because Mona is the reason for his creativity, while Mona is focused on her career as a physicist. They will never have more than this time together and when it ends will the heartbreak be worth it? The connection and chemistry between these two is unlike anything you have ever seen. They are complete opposites, but they see each other as they truly are and love each other more because of it. Their story isn’t finished yet and I can’t wait for more of Abram and Mona!

After the cliffhanger at the end of Motion by Penny Reid, I was dying to see what would happen next with Mona and Abram’s story! With Mona’s twin sister coming home, what did that mean for Mona’s budding romance??? Would Mona’s secret be revealed? I needed answers! I knew Space, the follow-up to Motion, would provide some clarity but, with another cliffhanger looming, I was both excited and anxious to see what else Penny Reid had in store for these characters. There’s not much I can say about Space without giving everything away. In short, Mona and Abram come face to face for the first time after their unforgettable week together when Mona posed as her twin sister, Lisa. The truth is out, there are unresolved feelings between Mona and Abram, and they have one week to resolve any lingering issues. To say that Space is an emotional roller coaster would be an understatement especially because, unlike Motion, Space is alternates between Mona and Abram’s perspectives. We get double the gut-wrenching angst, double the emotional baggage, and an abundance of conflicting thoughts and feelings. Going into Space, I don’t know quite what I expected but I wasn’t entirely prepared for the pain and anguish coming from Abram. Gone was the poetic, romantic aspiring musician and in his place was a bitter, hurt man who did little to hide the anger roiling around inside of him. Similarly, Mona wasn’t the mild-mannered, apathetic person who kept everything bottled up, but instead lets her confusion and longing seep in to every word she utters. The combination of Abram and Mona’s emotional turbulence evoked a visceral reaction in me, making me a nervous wreck from start to finish. My brows furrowed, my stomach churned, and my throat clogged up. Have I mentioned I don’t do well with angst? And Space damn near ripped my heart out. These characters frustrated me. They made me scowl and cringe and seethe. They made me laugh and smile. They moved me. They gave me hope. They drove me crazy and kept me on the proverbial edge of my seat. Space is one of those books that you stay up reading until the early hours of the morning because it’s impossible to stop. I devoured every word, riveted to the story, needing to see what happened next. Once I was finished, I was even more impatient for the conclusion to Mona and Abram’s story and I know I’ll be counting down the days until the release of Time. *complimentary copy provided by author for an honest review

Space is book 2 in Laws of Physics series by Penny Reid. In this emotionally charged romance, this book picks up 2 years after where book one left off. I hated that it was that big a time jump, but it is what it is. I guess Mona and Abram went on with their lives after the events in book one and that's sort of like real life. Abram did go a little wild before getting himself together and getting started with a rock band, writing songs that are huge in the business and are based off of the one person he's connected to...Mona.   Mona, meanwhile has been going thru the motions of living her daily life. She misses Abram and really finds peace when she is at her parents' cabin in Aspen. She tries to get there as much as she can and during this last trip - who happens to be there? Abram!! However, he's just a hateful tool and needs to get his mess straight! Some stuff said was just unnecessary and the way it needed...Girl - you needed to not end it there!

This is a second book in a trilogy. I love Mona and Abram. I love how Abram can see and understand what Mona can't and doesn't think of saying. I love how Mona's mind works. This was a really good, enjoyable installment in this trilogy, and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Reviewed by: Clare M.

Awesome Angst-Fest Space is the second book in the Laws of Physics series and this one is an absolute angst-fest!! After the fairly evil cliffhanger ending of Motion, book one, I was thrilled that Mona and Abram found themselves forced to be in the same place again after a 2 year separation. “I need someone to listen to my heart.” His face inched closer. “And it only wants to beat for you.” Mona is trying to be as honest as possible to Abram and herself but honesty can be so painful. There is so much feeling and emotion between these characters that I just felt my own heart aching for them. I was prepared for a cliffy ending but that didn’t make it any easier to find myself on the last page and wanting so much more. Now I NEED Time!! -4.5 Stars!-

With a sense of longing, Mona has gone through time with the monotony of her day to day tasks. Each day leaves her head full of ‘what ifs’ where Abram was concerned. Every single time Mona hears about Abram, she wonders where is could be in that moment, and what is guiding him through his days in the music industry. However – Mona knows not to actively seek out information about the one person who haunts her every thought. Determined to not allow her life to be dictated by her desire for Abram, Mona heads to the mountains with her best friend Allyn. Aspen has always been like a second home to Mona; a place to seek solitude when it is needed the most. Nothing could have prepared Mona for the arrival of her brother and his multitude of friends. An unexpected event, but things become even more shocking when Abram walks into the house. Time hasn’t dulled the sense of anger that Abram felt for Mona’s betrayal. Every day since they have been apart, Abram has wondered what the sisters plans were for deceiving him so blatantly. Determined to not allow Mona to escape this vacation without knowing his wrath, Abram can’t help but feel the twinges of his attraction weaving into the present. How can these two tortured souls uncover all that is standing between them? Conflict and attraction sprinkle the pages of Space by Penny Reid. The latest addition to the Laws of Physics is full of longing and uncertainty. Mona and Abram have gone their separate ways, but both clearly have unresolved feelings for the other. Their time apart has done little to quell the feelings from their time together, and getting snowed in together in Aspen is about to bring all the pain front and center. Reid has penned another amazing story that revolves around Abram and Mona. Together the two bring an intensity that leaves you desperate for a resolution. Nothing will be easy on the road to redemption for Mona, and having Abram so close will bring those confined feelings back to the present. Everything about this couple is appealing to me!! I love the heat, the quirkiness, and attraction that Mona and Abram share. Their journey will pull you in from the very first chapter. Where it leads…..well….that remains to be seen!! Make sure you add Space to your reader….you can than me later!!

This is the second book in the trilogy. I was anticipating this one so much. I really like Mona, She's such a genius and a little awkward when it comes to social situations. I like to see her relationship with her sister is getting better, but reading how strained things are with Abram hurt to read. I really liked that we got dual points of view in this book. I liked we got inside Abram's head so for me it helped to know where he was coming from. Even though Abram's struggling with his feelings with Mona he still looks out for her. that's what he most redeeming qualities for me. Don't get me wrong I understand he has his reasons for being mad, but he's changed man from the first book. Through out this one we gradually see the true Abram coming back. This book does leave off on a cliff hanger for these two, but I can't tell you how much I'm anticipating the conclusion to their story.
