Any star wars character could take out an entire space station from trek, also, any army could take every trek one, empire, C.I.S., old/new republic, yuuzan vong, rebellion, jedi, sith empire, and mandalorians could easily do that. any jedi, sith, vong, or mandalorian could take on 110 trekies before they kill themselves of the knowledge that they are in a 50374th class galaxy where the the heroes are a pointy eared know it all and a emotional reckless man who seems to have bribed the universe, become invincible, and have the strength of a bull x10, here we lost our main charactor anakin in the prequils to be darth vader but you are so wimpy you have to ressurect your pointy eared freak!!!! and besides, do you you have a governmentally sanctioned religion in australia, ours is called JEDI STAR WARS FOREVER! TREKIES ALL DIE!

Since 1977, two groups of some of the greatest sci-fi series of all time have be debated on who is the better of the two. Now, this book has now put the two series head to head. This book has put the good guys, the bad guys, and the cultures of the two worlds head to head. One thing that this book they have great matchups. What would the result be if Yoda and Spock face off each other? Or Darth Vader and Khan? Well, all I could say that if their was a battle in space that we might know the answer that many has asked for 35 years, or we never know the outcome because it would just go on and on. Read this book, and you be the judge if they are right, or maybe you might have something better.

star wars is far more interstering than star trek the federation of planets would have to surrender to the empire the sith the jedi and the rebels etc etc etc etc etc i find it kind of funny how the federation of planets would easily lose to the greatest science fiction charecters of all time darth vader darth sidious han solo chewie the list can go on for hours even yoda would make james kirk surrender spock would even surrender the whole federation would have to surrender because they would be far greatly outnumbered by all star wars charecters from all the star wars timelines the federation of planets would lose and thats a fact jack

the empire and the rebel alliance and the sith and the jedi could easily defeat the federation of planets the federation would fall because both palpatine and vader and thrawn and the rest of the other grand admirals could easily defeat the federation of planets with the death star and the death star 2 kirk would have to surrender to both vader palpatine and of course thrawn himself i did my homework and i know which side is gonna win and which is gonna lose

It's midichlorians, but I agree with you on the usefulness and recharge time of the Death Star and Star Trek's planetary drill. I agree in the sense that, if it was only a matter of planetary warfare, Star Wars would definitely win. angelicadaemonica

If Tsavong Lah was against Data, the Warmaster would smash Mr. Bot Man into teeny tiny pieces just for being a robot.

I personally think that Star Wars is better because it is mre exciting and has a better plot. Star Trek has a less interesting plot and they are now remaking old Star Trek movies. Star Trek: Into Darkness is actually just a remak of The Wrath of Kahn. Some of the scenes from Into Darkness are EXACTLY the same as the ones from The Wrath of Kahn. So in conclusion, Star Wars is better because it is more original and exciting.

You guys proboly have no idea what your talking about. It depend on the universe(for the jedi) the star wars universe has the miniclorians which gives them thier force. Also star trek doesn't have those but doesn't mean they have the advantage in there universe. We could send the death star to destroy thier planets. Yes star trek has a drill to destroy a planet but it takes 24 hours. I know same thing for the death star 1 but the death star 2 only takes 3 minutes to recharge. So star wars can beat star trek.

This book is really good for any trekkie or star wars fan that you know. Some of the results the author came up with were sure unexpected. As a huge fan of star trek, all I have to say is that everyone should give star trek more credit than what people give it. I mean, star trek has been around longer than star wars, which is almost 20 years longer. I mean sure star wars gave us names like carrie fisher, Harrison ford, and Nadilie portman, but there were a lot of gadgets that you can see in star trek that can be found with a very similar design in rwal life. So before getting into an argument with one fan or the other, remember that we all have our reasons for liking them.

I love star wars

Face it. Star wars could wreck all of the star trek beings. The only sci-fi universe that could be evenly matched with star wars would be the HALO universe

The Force, that's all I'm saying. What makes you think 3PO could own the Borg? Or that the Borg could own everyone? Come on, just because you love it doesn't mean it's the best. I personally think the Enterprise is just about beat if you pit them against the Jedi. The Borg, however, could probably take on a team of our favorite bounty hunters. (I'm sorry, Boba. Really, I am.)

When both of the only actors you can find from each movie are Boba Fett and Tuvok are the only ones prepared to do intros for your book are telling your readers that the concept of Star Wars characters fighting Star Trek is ridiculous, as one was set in a war atmosphere and the other was about space exploration. Then you probably should rethink your idea. That's not to say many of us haven't had these sorts of conversations at parties, around the staffroom lunch table and places like this. Incidentally Matt Forbeck has Boba Fett fight Tuvok, and while I am happy that Fett wins since I am a huge fan of the man with ¿five lines¿ I have to wonder if it was because Bulloch was a lot less critical of the concept than Russ was. The facts that are in this book are any geeks dream, however it is the ¿who would win¿ seniors that really lost this book for me. This scenario are not well plotted, just quick little bits of how the characters could ¿bump¿ into each other and a fight. Plus the fights together or not well suited, Riker against Luke, and not Jedi Luke, famer Luke. Seems unfair. Forbeck though does pits ships verse each other, religions, even each franchise's theme songs. To be fair there are little snippets of trivia on the actors, awards each film has won, box office takings and things that show Forbeck has done a bit of research. Nonetheless, this book is not offal, if you want a little geek factor with some little fiction, but if you are looking for a hardcore debate to be settled in this book, it¿s not going to happen; beacuse it can't.

I've only skimmed through this in store, all in all it's a decent read, gives some insight to the tech more than anything, but it's really a no brainer quite frankly. The Force is what sets the two apart for certain, fleets could be compared, weapons and the rest of the tech could be compared for days, but The Force is where it's at folks, bottom line, even a Jedi Agri Corps dropout could whoop Kirk or Spock. Furthermore, Boba Fett would stomp a mudhole in a klingons face end of story. And just to make the trekkies even more mad lol, C3P0 could take the Borg cube solo. Notice how the trekkies keep mentioning how it's not fair? HAHA!

This work has utterly terrible comparisons between that Star Trek and Star Wars universes. Totally unfair to the Trek universe. This work references all of the Star Wars movies (The Clone Wars television show, and a few books) while the newest Trek film, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Enterprise are really the only Trek references. Painfully little is mentioned of any of the other series and no mention is made of any Trek books. The only worth to this work is the introductions by the Wars and Trek stars. If this work was more even-handed then it would be a true page-turner.

It was a great book, but in the final face off, they took out the star wars vs star trek, and made it good vs evil. Really? I wanted to know who would win, not wich side would triumph.
