Overview

Stephen Hastings is a control freak.
He's arrogant. He's smart as a whip and sexy AF.
He has too much money. He's bossy, and he's usually right.
All I saw were his clear blue eyes, tight ass, and ripped torso.
I gladly handed him my V-card that night, ten years ago.
I was so stupid. I swore I'd never be that stupid again...

Emmy Barton works for a dry cleaner?
Yes, that Emmy Barton—long, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, pretty smile...
Sexy little ass. Smart mouth.
She was the only girl who interested me, but I was leaving to be an officer in the Navy.

Now I'm home, running my business. My life is perfectly ordered until I bump into her, divorced and struggling to make ends meet.
I hate seeing her like this. I hate that she married Burt "The Dick" Dickerson. What an asshole.

She says she hates me, but when we fight, it's all heat and lust.
I won't leave her this way.
She will let me help her and her son. She will stay...
It's a thin line between love and hate, and this line is on fire.

(STAY is a STAND-ALONE enemies-to-lovers, second-chance, marriage of convenience romance. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)

5 star Review Stay by Tia Louise Where do I start? Stay is a second chance at love story which ticked all the boxes for me. Emmy Barton and Stephen Hastings stole my heart and I think they have kept a little piece of it. There were times when I sighed, I laughed, I cried and throughout it all I kept saying, just one more chapter. I was riveted from the first to the last page, such was the strength of the writing and the fabulous characters. Of course there were plenty of swoon worthy moments and plenty of sizzle between Stephen and Emmy which I have come to expect from a book from Tia Louise. At times an emotional roller coaster that had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the connection he had with Eli, Emmy’s son, it melted my heart. I fell hard and fast for Stephen and I loved how devoted he was to Emmy, he made me swoon on so many occasions. I loved how strong and feisty Emmy was and I adored the banter they had. Throughout it all Tia Louise kept me absolutely on the edge of my seat as I read and cheered for Stephen and Emmy to get their happily ever after. There was nothing I didn’t love about Stay. This is one of the best books I have read this year. Once click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed.

I love the storyline and recommedn this book!!!!!

Love, love, loved this book!! If you’re a fan of steamy, hot, enemy to lovers stories and of Tia Louise then you’re in luck. Stay is an awesome, sexy, fast-paced tale. It’s full of all the sweet and angsty feelings that Tia is famous for. I was captivated by Stephen and Emmy from the first page until the last. Their attraction couldn’t be denied, no matter how much Emmy tried to at first. She had a lot to deal with and having an unrequited love come back into her life was tough on her. Stephnen works some swoony magic though and they were soon falling. The banter was quirky and snarky enough to make me smile. Glad I read this one. And you will be too. One-Click your copy today.

Tia Louise always gives us romance, passion and desire in her amazing stories and in her latest book, “Stay”, Stephen and Emmy show us that family comes first and that everyone needs a hero in their life. This book has everything we need to truly believe that love conquers all and that we should never give up hope. Stephen was Emmy’s first love, even though he was unaware of her feelings. She now had a second chance with him as he swooped into her life and became her savior, hero and knight in shining armor. Emmy would do anything for her son and she sacrifices her heart to allow him to lead a normal life. She yearns to meet that special someone to spend her life with, but isn’t sure that the arrangement she has with Stephen is the best way to find happiness. Money can’t buy love and Emmy needs to protect her son and her heart from making the wrong decision. This time around, she wants a forever and magical love that will stay with her for a lifetime.

Love love love!!! That’s what I feel for this book!! Couldn’t get through it fast enough. I completely fell in love with Stephen & his hot, scowly, genius, arrogant self. Not that he isn’t smackable at times (but truly, what guy isn’t at some point), but his chivalrous ways and how he totally falls for Emmy and Eli makes all of that not even matter. Emmy is filled with love and strength, beauty and grace, and is quite a mama bear, doing whatever it takes for her boy. And Eli, he’s just too cute for words. I loved this so so much, how their story came about, how the changes in them made you become emotional (like when you’re eyes are leaking while you’re trying to get ready for work). I’m not sure what else to say besides I LOVED THIS SO MUCH!!!

This was a delightful easy read. It had a strong heroine and an alpha geek hero; they were playful, sassy and had enough chemistry to burn down the house. I loved how much Stephen cared for her son and wanted nothing more that help them. And I could identify with Emmy so much in regards how much she wanted what was best for her son even if it meant doing the thing she swear she would not do - fall for Stephen again. I thoroughly enjoyed myself while read this. I hope we get to see more of this couple in the future because I have a feeling this was just the tip of the iceberg for them. ***Review copy requested and reviewed on behalf of OMGReads Blog**

Stay kept me glued to my seat, completely engrossed and feeling all the feels from beginning to end. I can't even begin to count how many times I went from tears to laughter and then right back to tears again. Stay is a book that will hit you right in heart and will stay with you long after finishing it. Emily "Emmy" Barton had a girlhood crush on Stephen Hastings. In her fantasy she believed once they made love, he'd fall in love with her. Well, that is why they call them crushes and fantasies and poor Emmy did not get to live hers. Ten years later, she is divorced and trying to support her and her adorable son, Eli, who sadly suffers from seizures. Emmy's ex refuses to acknowledge his son's condition, one of the many reasons she's divorced. One day while at work, the man who crushed her heart a decade ago walks through the door, Stephen. Stephen Hastings has never believed in marriage. His father had a wandering eye and treated those less fortunate poorly. When Stephen comes across Emmy working in a dry cleaners, knowing she once had the means to take care of herself, and that she has a son who needs medical help, he not only feels this deep need to help her, he wants to help her. He certainly has to money to help out, so why shouldn't he? He never expected her to so no. He also never expected to enjoy hearing her so no so much. She brings out his bossy side and he has no problem using it on her. For years he never thought about a family, but having Emmy and Eli around, now he can't stop thinking about anything else. It's just a temporary arrangement. It's just a temporary fix. Help Eli and then move on with their lives like normal. Nobody should want to stay once Eli is better. Staying means feelings are involved. Staying means forever. Stephen doesn't believe in marriage and Emmy doesn't believe in happily ever after anymore. It will never work. Can it?
