B J Hoff has found a way to captivate the interest from beginning to end as she tells the story of the developing relationship between Jennifer Terry and Daniel Kaine. Jennifer takes a job as an executive assistant at a radio station in W.Virginia as she needs the extra money the job will provide for her. Although she is excited at the challenge the job offers she does not have a clue of what lies ahead. Jennifer is startled at how quickly she is finding herself thinking in terms of her new boss as more than en employer. Jennifer is not prepared for all of the events that start to happen and quickly realizes there is something terrible going on and it puts Daniel's life in danger and possibly hers. Daniel Kaine, a former olympic gold medalist with the good looks of a vagabound prince, is the executive Jennifer will be working for. Daniel was blinded in an auto accident when he was hit by a drunk driver, but he has made tremendous strides in adapting to his blindness and living his life. Although he is a busy man who has a schedule jammed with activities, loving family and friends, and loving people who work with him he has something missing in his life. Is love what is missing in Dan's life? Is he dreaming of marriage, a family and a life where he can have all of the things surrounding him that will make him feel like his blindness does not take over his life? Will all of the crazy events that have started to happen change everything? Is the life of Jennifer and others being put at risk due to him? Who is trying to hurt Dan? Why is all of this happening? Where will it end? I enjoyed the book and although it was a quick read it held my attention all the way through the book!
