Not every monster started as human.
In this anthology of eleven original tales, the undead are never quite expected. From sinister feline mummies to ravenous zombified cars and any and all things in-between, the living dead have returned from their graves, junkyards, and even the war torn skies to haunt the lands of the living. With stories horrific, funny, and weird, Strange Afterlives has a little something for everyone who has ever wondered what terrible secrets could be lurking in that rotting tree or broken toy.
Stories included in this anthology:
Mouse Trouble by A. Lee Martinez
After the Invasion by Russell C. Connor
Seated Woman with Child by Rosemary Clement-Moore
Roots by Brooke Fossey
The Late Mrs. Buttons by Sally Hamilton
An Undercover Haunting by Kristi Hutson

Strange Afterlives will terrify and amuse. You may never look at a rusted automobile the same way again.

About the Author
Science Fiction / Fantasy Novelist with 10 traditionally published novels to my name. I write weird adventure fantasy with humorous under and overtones. Someone once said I take extraordinary characters and place them in ordinary situations. Also, I like weird tentacle monsters for some reason because they keep popping up in most of my stories, but that wasn't intentional. Regardless, I'm a guy who tells stories and has managed to get paid for it now and then, so I can't be all that bad at it, can I? If you want to read about robot detectives, awkward vampires, or gods who spend way too much time sitting on the sofa watching Spanish soap operas, I'm your guy. Just remember. It's pulpy weird fiction, NOT funny fluff. Unless you like funny fluff. Then it's exactly that. Either way, I'm here to sell books and chew bubblegum. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

I loved this variety of stories! Usually I am left unimpressed by these short stories or at least 1 or 2 of them. Not this time!!! Thank you!? And I hope you- this same group of authors- do this again soon!!!???
