About the Author

Harold Star has been a faculty member of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo since 1999. He teaches Strategic Management in the Executive MBA, Professional MBA, full time MBA, and undergraduate programs. He is the undergraduate course coordinator and has been actively involved in School of Management projects ranging from curriculum change to program reaccreditation.

Dr. Star has a Ph.D. in Business Administration and an MBA in Labor Relations. In addition to 30+ years of classroom experience and 25+ years of consulting experience, Dr. Star is the CEO of EMBA Press. He writes for a wide range of audiences: academic, executives, and students.
