Strip Tease by Erin McCarthy is the third book in her Tap That series and definitely worth reading. Strip Tease is Grace and Brandon's love story. One night nine years ago Grace decided to have a little fun which included alcohol and sex with a guy who gave her a false name and an illegible phone number when we left the next morning. All these years later she finally finds him because he is doing a charity event only a few hours away from where she and their daughter live. Her intent is to confront him, but instead she finds a man who is remorseful about having missed so much of his daughter's life and not being there for Grace when she needed him the most. What neither of them expect is the instant attraction that they both still have for each other. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

4.5 Stars This is book 3 in the Tap That series and it features Grace and Brandon. A one night stand turns into a second chance romance for these two very different people. It’s about regret, friendship, love and ultimately compromise. Compromise is extremely difficult for two people so used to running their own lives. This might be the first book I’ve read that the author hasn’t made the child super cute or extra special in some way. Fallon was just a normal eight-year-old pushing the boundaries with her mom. The story line was great and the characters are fabulous. I look forward to reading more from this fantastic author.

This an amazing second chance romance that is well written and very enjoyable. It moves along at a brisk pace, is a very interesting and engaging read. I read it in one sitting because the story grabbed and pulled me in from the first page. The storyline is great and the characters are realistic, funny, and interesting. This book is a part of the ‘Tap That’ series and can be read as a standalone, however I would recommend reading all the available books in the series – you will not regret it. There is limited overlapping of characters from previous books in the series. Looking forward to reading the next book. I recommended this book and this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this one! How did I not know this series existed? (No worries--this worked fine as a standalone, but you'd better believe I'm going back for the other two...and totally on board for the next two!) Strip Tease (neither the book nor the series are quite as risque as they sound--Tap This is the name of the bar one character owns, and each year the friends take part in an amateur strip show for charity--where, apparently, each has an encounter with their soon-to-be heroine) is a second chance romance/secret baby story...though their "first chance" was a single night, so maybe that's a bit of a stretch? Maybe more of a one night stand/guys in their early twenties are dumba** type of story is a more accurate description? ;) I loved Brandon, Grace, and Fallon (their daughter). Regardless of how much of an idiot he'd been nine years ago, Brandon stepped up to the plate nicely once Grace let him know that he had a daughter (in the middle of the aforementioned strip show, of course--LOL). He's a bit slow on the making-decisions-as-a-team train, though--resulting in their relationship's dark moment--but figures out the error of his ways (with a little help from a friend) and works on fixing things ASAP, saving his butt and the book to give us an adorable HEA. There were so may LOL moments here--between the dialogue, the situations (one of Grace's side jobs, OMG), and the relationships between all of the characters--I just had so much fun reading this book. I can't wait for Jesse and Sullivan's stories (and, dare we hope--Liam's? :)) Rating: 4 stars / A- I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Strip Tease I couldn’t really get into this one, I guess I just didn’t connect with the characters. It’s not much of a review I realize that. I’ve been thinking for 2 days what to write about this book, but nothing pops up that made me want to read this book again. I usually love what Erin McCarthy writes but this one just didn’t do it for me. I received an arc for a honest review.

GREAT READ! Oh boy an intriguing read that that takes you on a bumpy ride of twists that pull you deep into the heart of the drama latching onto your heartstrings at times making it hard to put down. Exciting chemistry. Intense, enjoyable, cute, entertaining, engrossing twists and a myriad of emotions. A amazing must read with a sweet HEA!

Second chance romance with a little heat. Third book in this series, but works as a standalone. Great characters and story telling. It's nice having a strong female lead that's not a bitch, she listens, when she's wrong instead of stubbornly sticking to her original thoughts of how something will go she compromises. All the characters act like adults, not a bunch of whining teenagers which is refreshing. Looking forward to the next installment. Thank you to Booksprout for an enjoyable read.

The hilarious and heartwarming return of Jeff Spicoli! I hadn't heard that name in decades, so it was especially funny to see our hero, Brandon, use it as an alias in a one-night-stand on his twenty-first birthday. That and an illegible phone number resulted in his not knowing that something completely life-changing happened that night. Nine years later, Grace happens to see the familiar face in an online video, and she finally has the chance to confront her daughter's father. Brandon and Grace have a beautiful, whirlwind romance that is the stuff of fairytales. Brandon isn't anything like the narcissistic womanizer she thought he'd be, and Grace is so much more than Brandon could've hoped for as a mother for his child. I loved how the writing focused on their character and compatibility without ignoring the blazing-hot chemistry they shared. It was nice to see that the daughter wasn't portrayed as perfect, yet she's not a brat, either. Even though the romance moved fast, it felt real and honest with careful attention paid to both the pros and cons for everyone involved. The HEA was absolutely exquisite. The cast of characters from the first two books were wonderfully incorporated into this story, and I have to confess that I'm completely in love with Liam. I hope he gets a book in this series, or at the very least we get some follow-up with his hot little redhead. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I did find Strip Tease rather enduring! Grace was a strong soul character that had to raise an amazing little girl that I fell for as well. Brandon was swoon worthy! He stepped i[ and went into the father role with ease. Well as much ease as it can be when you become and insta-parent. The characters chemistry was on point. There was some steamy scenes that will fog up the windows. I truly am enjoying this series and Strip Tease was a fun and witty story that you need to add to your TBR list.

I loved Grace and Brandon!!! So I did not know that this was the third book in this series!! And why did I not know!! Anyhoo so we have Brandon and he was in all his glory strippin for charity and happy to be a single playboy with no plans to change that anytime soon, and then Grace shows up. Grace had not seen Brandon in 10 years and she has something that will rock his world. 10 years ago they had an explosive one night stand but Brandon had given her a false name and his number which was wrong and she never got to tell him he was her baby daddy. When she tells him he is shocked but what I liked about him was that he immediately was ready to support her child and take responsibility, which shocked her, they agreed to meet his daughter Fallon and see how thing went, but their chemistry was still off the charts and while spending time together they rekindled it and his life drastically changed. The only thing that I did not like from this story was that it was the third and I missed the first two but I plan on remedying that..Enjoy! Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.
