About the Author

What's up world - I'm Jenn Hype. Author, mother, wife, singer/songwriter, aspiring comedian - I wear many hats. Some of them fit, some of them look ridiculous, and all of them are fun. Life's too short to take anything too seriously, so I don't. Sarcasm is my go-to, especially when it's most inappropriate. Need someone to make an uncomfortable situation even more awkward? I'm the girl for the job. I'm ridiculously A.D.D. and I own it. I have a serious addiction to ecards and the majority of my Pinterest account is dedicated to them. The key to my heart is glitter and caffeine - my needs are basic. I'm a bookaholic and I crush hard on my book boyfriends and their authors. Some might call me obsessive, but I disagree. That word really doesn't do justice to how crazy I get when it comes to something I'm passionate about. I'm not afraid to go fangirl on you, so don't test me. Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. I'm an open book, and I love to hear from readers.

This is an exceptional read that will draw you in from beginning to end! It is well written, fast pace, funny, witty, moves at a brisk pace, and is very enjoyable. The characters are loveable, good crazy, and sweet; the chemistry between them is blazing hot. I loved watching their story unfold and the ups and downs make for a wonderful story. There is an overlapping of characters from previous books and this is very refreshing and adds even more substance to the storyline. This is a very interesting and engaging read that I highly recommend reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Stupid Smart is the first book I've read by Jenn Hype and it won't be the last. The characters and storyline was well written and enjoyable to read. This is the third book of the Jaded series and it's a hilarious enemies to lovers romantic comedy. I'll be reading the first two books now that I've read from this author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

There is a whole lot of crazy going on in this book, and it all seems to turn on a dime. Hmmm… suddenly Pam Tillis’s Mi Vida Loca is playing though my head. That fits a little too well. I loved that Liam and Clara own up to their issues and embrace the chaos. And it’s especially refreshing to see them advocating talking it all out, working through it all together. I find it stretches believability a tiny bit how fast Liam’s phobia turns around, but I can support that aspect of the story. I’ve seen it happen in real life, so I know it’s not impossible. I have a real problem with the way Clara’s meltdown before the end is handled. All it would have taken was anything suggesting that she was getting professional help for the issues that caused the meltdown, and I would have glossed over it in the same way it appears their family and friends do. But I didn’t see that, and that bothers me. I love that they’re moving forward from there, and the set up for the next pairing has me preparing to embrace even more of the chaos. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

I received a free copy of this book from BookSprout in exchange for an honest review. I did not realize this was the 3rd book of a series. This was my first read from Jenn Hype. This book was not bogged down with backstory and can be read as a stand alone. I'm sure knowing the other characters' stories would enhance the connection of the characters in this book, but I enjoyed the read without knowing their stories. Stupid Smart is written in dual POV and is a quick read. Clara and Liam both had things to overcome through the story. Liam seemed like Clara's savior with every horrible date she took because he ruined them. Enemies to Lovers, all the way. I liked their open honesty about their insecurities and the unknown. There were a few places that I felt should have developed more, though. Otherwise it was entertaining. There is plenty of adult language, an adult scene or so, and lots of Clara's honesty babbling. This book leaves you with a happy ending.

I can't recall the last time that two main characters who were the equivalent of oil and water were such an absolutely perfect match! This is an entertaining and enchanting romance that will check all your boxes! This had me in stitches from the opening scene - Moreover, if I had the results that Clara seemed to be encountering with her "blind dates" I would have given in long ago - Cats and Netflix forever Clara is sweet on the outside and tangy as all on the inside (she is a reverse sour bear! ) I liked that she lived her life how she felt comfortable from her dress to her endearing attitude she was a constant source of wonderment Liam - that boy has it bad - he is the player, the joker, the commitment-phobe and her brother's employee - making him off-limits to Clara - not to mention he is a womanizer and an arse! What started out for Liam as a bit of a joke has become a challenge he has no intention of losing This is one of this years must-reads! A whole lot of laughter softened with a bit of angst enveloped in the purest of loves Don't pass this one up

A delightful romantic comedy that will keep you laughing from start to finish. This was the first time I've read anything by this author, but I'll definitely be reading the first two in the series. I didn't want this book to end!
