This just goes to show you that new takes on Superman's beginnings can still be done and done extremely well. Max Landis crafts an amazingly fresh take on Superman and how Clark Kent becomes the hero everyone knows. It never feels repetitive or blasphemous. The story was fantastic. The dialogue made Clark seem more realistic and was near perfect. These seven issues had about 15 "OMG" panels/pages. The book had seven different artists and each one one did an amazing job. I would pay for each one to have their own Superman series. Each was perfectly suited for the tone of their individual chapter. I wished these teams could continue with this world forever. Simply a great book!!
