(Eriksson #8) Hedra Dearhart is an outcast with vivid dreams. When she begins writing about her nightmares for English Composition, all she envisions is a high GPA. but can Sygnet keep up this pace? Eight books in a year.. only constructive criticism I can offer is: please have a professional do the final review. Clarity of plot and exposition are needed. Sometimes I have to go back and reread to figure out who's talking. Plots are great, Ericksson (however whacko) is very appealing. Good luck LS!

Love this author and her books. Read her website too, she did NOT write 8 books in a year, these are over  a long period of time! Read one you'll read them all.

Read the first free book and bought all the rest by the same author. Very enjoyable reading.

Love the whole series - just dislike the F-word used so much!

LS Sygnet has quickly become my favorite author. This is number eight in a series and it was as great as the seven before it. Mystery, suspense, everything you want in a book. Highly recommend

Excellent next installment in the series, but also stands alone.  Thoughtful plots that have unexpected twists and turns.  Recommended.

Even though part of a series it reads well as a stand alone.

I have never felt so compelled to reach for the finale of a series without just reading the first and last make my own leap and yet i couldnt do it. Reading in order makes this the best yet. Kudos you got me. Bravo.

I didn't think this one was as good as the prior books, but I still enjoyed the writing and plot.

Yes i love the series but this was the worse one so far. Come on, the ending was stupid! Without being a plot spoiler how on earth do they think they will get away with Wendell's new identity? I'm tired of the overused 'nature or nurture' argument. If the author splits Helen and Johnny I'm done.

Sygnet is a wonderful writer. Eight books this year and all of them fabulous. The characters are fantastic and believable. The plot is tight and keeps you hooked from the very beginning.

Sygnet does it again! When a teen starts dreaming about future events and writing about them in her composition class, she thinks she has a vivid imagination - shrugging off the nightmares. Helen and Johnny get involved thinking Hedra is somehow involved in the crimes. Then the team figures out Hedra is dreaming the events 'before' they happen and things get really strange!

I have read the complete Eriksson Series (10) books and hope they will continue. Great buy for the money. You won't be sorry!!

Truthfully, I read anywhere from 3-5 books a week. It can get expensive so I usually look for the free books and discounted books. I stumbled upon this DARKWATER BAY series and read all 10 in one week!   LS Sygnet's books have become an addiction!  Her characters are deep, complex, sophisticated and there is no token sex filler.  There is supsenseful tension throughout each one of her books.  A very smart andcerebral style of writing. Absolutely, a spectacular read!

I have read all 8 books in this series. Each book is a stand alone story with a thread that connects each novel together so I would recommend reading them in order as there are references to previous books. Doctor Eriksson progressively grows with each challenge and the main characters grow along side her. I found each book to be well written and well developed. The author does a fine job of wrapping up the story line so there are no loose ends. There are some editing problems but nothing too drastic.
