Marley has returned to Alaska after being beaten and robbed in Seattle. She meets Gage who has inherited the ski lodge from his grandmother and plans to reopen it. Both have never experienced true relationships because of their jobs. What are they feeling now? Story is a little slow moving that is why I only gave it 3 stars.

Liked the story line. I think more could be added at times like Gage's life drama.

I thought too much sex Also the use of big words , totally not necessary, she used them it seemed , Just to show she knew them.

This is my first novel from JHCroix. Throughly enjoyed this story about Alaska entitled Christmas On The Last Frontier. Well written, the characters were so real, the countryside magnificent and just the right amount of drama for a romance novel. Linda-Rose

I loved reading just wish it was not so anticlimactic when they bring down the bad guy. It was to easy and to fast, maybe it just needed more suspense, intrigue and danger. But I do love happy endings!

So much going on, you can't put it down! I really liked the story, kept moving so quickly it catches your attention and never lets go! Heavy on the descriptive sex scenes so be aware if that others you. All in all, a good read!

Story was hard to put down. A very believable story. It starts out about a female that has come home because of a robbery in her apartment. Next it introduces the male, who has come back to his grandmothers ski resort, after her death and leaves the ski resort to her grandkids. These two have a chance meeting on the slopes of the ski resort. The story then provides the hot attraction these two have while getting the ski resort back in shape after twenty years. Read the story to get all the hot action in this book.

This is an interesting, smoothly-paced novel spiced up by mystery and intrigue. The descriptions of Alaskan scenery and wildlife added a lot as well. It was definitely an enjoyable read, and I'll look for more by this author. Generally the writing is good. There are several grammatical glitches (mostly apostrophes in the wrong place and incorrect verb tenses), but not enough to detract from the story. I felt that the quantity and explicitness (and repetitiveness) of the sex scenes were a bit overdone, but that could just be me. My biggest message to the author is to KEEP WRITING!, but also to please keep working on honing her craft. She tends to repeat phrases that after a while simply get irritating and thus take away from her intended effect: lips quirked, corner of his mouth curled up, smokey grey eyes, her hair swirling in the breeze, face flushed, thankful for the table - all of these became overused cliches. The worst offender, though, was the word "control" (along with the chracters' obsession with it). The word appeared over and over and over again, becoming almost nauseating. - Have someone else read your next novel with this firmly in mind before you go to press... it might help to streamline and strengthen your writing. Over all, though, NICE job! The story kept me hooked.
