Tangled Up in Tinsel: A Sunshine Creek Vineyard Novel by Candis Terry

Meet the Kincade brothers: they’ll go to any lengths to protect their legacy—

but what happens when love gets in the way...?

As if the holidays weren’t stressful enough, Parker Kincade has a restaurant to open. The fact that his Groomzilla brother wants the place for his perfect Christmas wedding doesn’t help. Then there’s the stunning woman who appoints herself his new chef before he’s ready to hire one. But one look at Gabriella Montani has Parker reassessing needs vs. wants. And that’s before he tastes what she has to offer…

Gabriella doesn’t need to get tangled up with a sexy man. What she needs is a job and a chance to prove herself. A place in Parker’s kitchen could give her the opportunity she’s been waiting for. The heat between them is sizzling, but a place in his bed could be downright dangerous. Neither Christmas nor men have ever lived up to her expectations, but Parker has soulmate written all over him. Should Gabi let herself be swept up in his holiday magic, or will it disappear before Christmas Day?

I really loved this story. This story had really believable characters that were charming and lovable. The family drama was interesting and compelling. The story over all was very heart warming. I didn’t want it to end. I liked how she put a character from the Sugar shack stories in this book. I really Loved Alex Harley. I have really wondered what was to come of him and the rest of the Deer Lick family.

Every book in this series just gets better and better - and with Parker on the hot seat for this one: running his food truck, building his restaurant in the old barn on the vineyard property, and dealing with a "groomzilla" of a brother in Jordan, convincing his newly-found half-sister that she is a part of the Vineyard and the Kincaides, and working to pin down his Aunt Pippy to share the whole story of his parents' marriage. He doesn't have time for guilt, or to look for a relationship. Fortunately, that relationship comes to him in the perfectly bold and determined package that is Gabriella Montani. Walking into a restaurant under construction with a plan: a plan to dazzle Parker with her food and score an early foot in the door, avoiding all those awkward questions about where she trained and what experience she has, Gabi takes Parker’s breath away. That lethal combination of determination, heart, beauty and surprising frankness intrigues him: and while he’s willing to give her a no-strings option, he’s not willing to commit to either a job or more. But, not surprisingly, Gabi comes with her own set of rules and issues: and Parker is the perfect man to scratch the itch for one moment, before she pulls back to focus on food. So well-matched and completely adorable – these two leap off the pages with their steam, their heart and the genuine development of a relationship that started quickly while neither was looking. And with everything going on – it really was hard for Parker to keep his eyes on one thing – from discovering (finally) the story behind their parents’ marriage, discovering Gabi’s incredible heart, dealing with the pressures of Jordan’s upcoming wedding and trying to grasp and organize the final details involved in opening a restaurant, Christmas and the never-ending itch to see Gabi….. So full of emotions and answers with Parker’s own inability to find the right words at the right time almost *but not quite* led to the end of something wonderful for both Gabi and Parker –but also brought both of them to the forefront in handling (or starting to recognize and handle) their own issues with trust, old baggage and finding ways to let go of guilt, accepting change and allowing possibility a toehold. Oh there were tons of questions answered, plenty of heartwarming (and alternately heartbreaking) moments and steam enough to almost set poor bubbly-Basil the Beta into boil mode. Each story gets better – reinforces the family connections and love that will bring them all forward, together and united. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for the purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Another delightful trip back to Sunshine Valley! If you've read any of the previous books in the Sunshine Creek Vineyard series, you will recognize the Kincade family and know about some of the ups and downs they've experienced in recent times. This book brings us Parker's story, and also brings us some long awaited answers of what really happened in their parents life together. This family is a great blend of love, strife and an unbending connection to each other and make for a really deep foundation for each story. I loved the chemistry between Gabi and Parker from the very start and loved watching their relationship develop and soar! Parker Kincade thought he was overloaded just trying to convert a treasured barn into his dream restaurant on the family vineyard, but when his brother announces he wants to have a big Christmas wedding there, the pressure is really on! He's the good time guy, the reformed black sheep ... can he really make all of this happen in time?? When sexy chef Gabriella Montani shows up declaring she's the chef he's been looking for when he's not even near ready to hire one yet, it doesn't take him long to realize the potential she brings to the table. With a body made for sin, and a sassy flare she just might be exactly what he wasn't looking for all his life!

Review: TANGLED UP IN TINSEL: A Sunshine Creek Vineyard Novel by Candis Terry Publication Date: September 26, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 4.5 Stars I enjoyed the lovely romance between Parker and Gabriella. The Kincade family has such an easy camaraderie that just pulls you in and makes it very relatable. Gabriella took a little while to warm up to, but was worth the wait. They made a nice sexy couple that helped each other overcome the past and find their own strength. A nicely written, charming read. *Review copy provided by Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.

I received an advanced copy from Edelweiss in exchange for my honest review. I have read several books by Candis Terry. I have loved each of them! I have to say I am partial to the books in the Sunshine Creek Vineyard series. I knew from the earlier two books that I would love Parker. I was so right! Add in the characters I have come to know and love, add Gabriella and I was hooked and could not put this book down! The story can be read as a stand alone or in order of the series. I did love the tough hockey guy Jordan becoming a groomzilla to make his bride happy! Candis adds enough family drama, love, steamy love scenes & well developed characters to make each of her books my favorite at the time of reading. You can't go wrong in purchasing this book. Find your favorite reading spot and settle in to read and relax!

Positively scrumptious!! I absolutely loved this book!! I was so happy to be back with the Kincades in Sunshine Valley!! They always feel like family. I knew Parker was going to stand out as one of my favorites and he certainly does that!! He is a combination of so many wonderful things. He's gorgeous, sexy, protective, responsible and oh yeah, he's funny too. And did I mention he can cook? He can not only cook he is a chef! How could anyone resist him? Gabriella certainly can't. She is a real go-getter and I just love her! She is beautiful, sexy, kind, selfless and caring, and the perfect match for Parker. She comes to town looking to get a job working for him in the new restaurant he is building in the family's vineyard. She wants to prove she is everything her father said she could never be. (Side note: if there has ever been a character I have wanted to throat punch, it is Gabi's father) The chemistry between Gabi and Parker is instant and quickly rises to the boiling point and things heat up in more places than the kitchen. They agree to one night but we all know how that never quite works out especially when two people are clearly perfect for each other. I really love the storyline and everything happening in this book. As a fan you will definitely enjoy the family antics as well as some drama that is woven into this love connection happening between Parker and Gabi. 5 sparkling stars for Tangled Up in Tinsel. Candis Terry has done it again!!

Love the Kincaid brother's. This is a delicious story of romance and chefs. Parker Kincaid is starting up his own restaurant and needs a chef. Gabriella needs a job has a chef and prove to herself she can do this. Neither are interested in romance but they can't put aside the attraction and chemistry behind them. Gabriella has a secret that might ruin everything though. Add in the upcoming Christmas wedding of his brother, Groomzilla doesn't help with stress that Parker is facing. Groomzilla will have you laughing out loud. This is the first Christmas read this year and loved every page of it. I'm happy that everything was calorie free in reading, but yummy recipes at the end of the story. I highly recommend this book!!

I had read the other books in this series and enjoyed them, so I was eager to get to this one. I loved Gabi and Parker. They've got a lot in common, have excellent chemistry, push each other's buttons, and have banter for daaaaays. The family element is always fun. I loved seeing the other couples and hints to possible future books. Plot wise, it's nearly all fluff and it's fabulous. There is a bit of conflict and drama towards the end, but it isn't drawn out. My main complain is that there wasn't an epilogue. I mean, the ending chapter is pretty solidified, but I would have liked to seen just a bit more into the future, especially with the restaurant. Overall, it was my favorite so far from this author and I look forward to seeing who's up next. **Huge thanks to Avon Books for providing the arc free of charge**

Parker Kincade is burning his candle at both ends trying to get his new restaurant up and running before the Christmas holiday, and also trying to get everything prepared for his brothers Christmas nuptials that just so happen to be taking place at his new restaurant. And if that wasn't already enough on his overly full plate now he has some aspiring chef hounding him at every turn wanting the chance to be his new chef... a chef he isn't really in the market for right now. Having her stalk him everywhere he goes isn't all that much of a hardship though because she is quite pleasing to the eyes, and before long she begins to wear him down and he agrees to give her a shot... and as soon as she wanders into his kitchen and they break bread the sparks start flying!! Gabriella Montani is determined to pave her own path in the cooking world, and not fly on the coat tails of her famous culinary family. So the moment she hears that famed chef Parker Kincade is opening his own restaurant she knows that could be her big opportunity to make a name for herself in the kitchen, now she just has find a way to convince him to give her a shot. Which results in her doing a little stalking, and drooling, but she finally gets her chance to wow him... and she winds of getting a whole lot more than she bargained for... a delicious little something extra!! Tangled Up In Tinsel is a light-hearted story brimming with hope, humor and toe curling romance! A wonderful addition to the Sunshine Creek Vineyard series... I loved every minute of it! After reading Perfect For You, I have been dying to get back to these wonderful characters and get a more in-depth look at another one of the Kincaid men, and I have to say I really liked what I found... Parker was definitely worth the wait!! Him and Gabi's touching story had moments that made me laugh, moments that curled my toes, and moments that warmed my heart, it was such a great read!! Ms. Terry has created a wonderful series that is filled with some truly unforgettable characters that are sure to be treasured by all romance readers!! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Family is about good times, hard heads and unbreakable bonds. Someone to have your back, even at your worst moments. The Kincade brothers embody the good, the bad and the hilarious with a great deal of love thrown in for good measure. Tangled Up In Tinsel is Parker's turn to lose his head and misplace his heart at the feet of a frustratingly, stubborn woman. She has something to prove, and for the first time, he wants to take a risk. Candis Terry can dish up delicious temptation and forever leave me begging for more.
