Love has no age limit. This is proven by Jamie Salisbury's well written novel. The characters are multi dimensional and well rounded. There are conflicts which is what reading a good book is all about. The relationship between Rae and Rory draws you into work and personal lives. The characters give you a feeling for being a Scot so that you notice their surroundings and the people they are involved with both person and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Rae's manuscript proves that you can accomplish any thing if you set your mind to it. Tartan Deadlines is worth reading more than once.

A delightfully warm and well written romance about an older woman attempting to start life over when most women are content to play with grandchildren. Rae Spencer is multi leveled and heartwarming, if not bold. Rory MacGregor is the younger, all businessman - married to his work. That is until he hires this determined Yank! A book about family lies and deceptions and expectations - the book is full of twists and turns as the author takes them on.  The complexity of the two main characters as they ebark into the unknown will truely have even the biggest skeptic tearly eyed. I've read quite a few things of this author and am in awe. Tartan Deadlines is a stand alone book but would love to see what Rae and Rory find themselves dealing with!
