"The book was good, but i didn't like that there was soo many gross bugs. Though i think it would be really funny if Howard was a pink butterfly. The auther should have totally done that instead!!! " :)***

I started this book as soon as I could because of how much I loved The Slither Sisters. Teacher's Pest was probably the most different of the three. It revolved more about Glenn and Karina, and it was great to find out more about the two. Karina was always just a "ghost", but this book really made her feel more real. We knew close to nothing about Glenn's family, but it's in this book where we actually find out more about his personal life. Let me give you a piece of advise. Do NOT read this book while eating, because there are many disgusting images in this book. Looking at the cover, you can obviously assume that you will encounter a lot of bugs in this read. Let me tell you, I hate bugs, and I was really disgusted at some parts during this book. *shivers* Anyways, the plot wasn't as great as the second book, but I was still able to enjoy myself. One thing is for sure, I can NOT wait for the fourth book! I really want to find out what happens next, and I'm shocked at how much I actually enjoy this series. I always thought that I would never enjoy middle-grade books, but I'm wrong. If you think you're too old for middle grade, you're not! These books are just so much fun and full of adventure, you'll find yourself enjoying them anyhow!

Reviewed by Avery, age 9 While Teacher’s Pest wasn’t as great a read as the second book on the Tales from Lovecraft Middle School series, it is still an adventurous and mystical book with crazy action. Nerdy student council president Howard Mergler isn’t what he appears to be. On the outside he is your typical nerd boy with bow tie, big wire framed glasses, and church clothes, but on the inside he is a creepy and monstrous bug-monster that can summon bugs at will; everything from ants to head lice. EWE! Who can save Lovecraft Middle School from this creepy monster before it’s too late? “Imagine a queen bee with power over every bug on earth. Wasps, head lice, walking sticks, silverfish. Howard is summoning all the creatures to Lovecraft Middle School.” One great thing about this book are there are fully drawn pictures throughout the book which always gives the reader a little peak into the mind of the illustrator and writer on how they see the story in their own heads. While I didn’t like this as much as book two simply because it was about bugs, it was the perfect next book in the series and I hope I get to review book four. *This book was provided in exchange for an honest review*  *You can view the original review at Musing with Crayolakym and San Francisco & Sacramento City Book Review
