TWO BRIDES SWITCH PLACES IN TIME!

MISMATCHED BRIDES

In modern Memphis, Tennessee, beautiful, headstrong Missy Monroe has found the perfect fiancé, gorgeous and genteel Jeff Dalton, a man she can control in every way… and who bores her to tears!

Meanwhile back in antebellum Memphis, Missy’s distant cousin, shy, demure Melissa Montgomery, has been promised from birth to virile, arrogant Fabian Fontenot, a man whose fierce sensuality scares the starch out of her crinoline!

Missy and Melissa plan their weddings in the same house, on the same day, only 140 years apart!

TUMBLE IN TIME

Who would think that a misstep on the stairs could lead to such a crazy tempest in time? One minute the brides are descending the stairs to wed their fiancés; the next, they are switching places in time!

Suddenly Missy finds herself stuck in a provincial outpost of the antebellum South, as the presumed fiancée of the most insufferable, sinfully handsome man in all of history! And Melissa finds herself thrust into an amazing, bewildering new world… where she is only too happy to exchange her beast of a fiancé for the gallant soulmate who has now replaced him.

Will these two switched, mismatched brides find happiness with their destined grooms? Or will the fickle hand of Fate wreak havoc with them once again?

If you like time-travel romances, you'll love this! It covers present going to past and past going to present, all in the same story! Would love for the story to continue with the characters in a sequel book! Didn't want this book to end! Love, love, loved it!

What a wonderful story! I would only change the ending......I couldnt stay in 1852, I would bring my love to now, who could live in 1852, if we are used to our 1992 world.....But, I loved the characters......alittle too much loving, but, again I loved it!

Two reluctant brides, seeking a way to avoid unsuitable marriages, are able to travel through time and switch places. Missy Monroe is a headstrong and independent modern woman. How will she fare in pre-Civil War Memphis with a domineering man who believes men are always in control? At the same time Melissa Montgomery, a docile unassuming miss, finds herself in a modern world filled with frightening machinery, but her kind heart leads her to her true love. Will they have a lifetime together? I enjoyed Tempest In Time. The story is intriguing. It's filled with humor, passion and intense emotion. I liked watching Missy and Melissa adapt to their new reality and become better, stronger people. I loved the way that history was woven into the story. The characters are well written and compelling. The romance was passionate. I was drawn into the story. I wanted a HEA. Eugenia Riley did a great job. I loved Tempest In Time.

its really a WONDERFUL book, I love the story and the uncertainty throughout the book. When you're not sure how much time you can spend with the one you love be sure to live each moment to the fullest..

I finished it.

I liked the storyline of the Tempest in Time, however, the amount of very descriptive sex in the book was excessive. When my grandchildren pick up my Nook, I don't want them to accidentally get into this type of literature. So, now that I've read it, I will have to delete it.
