Chelsea is fine living life in her hometown, teaching, and living up to her mother's standards. Of course, this means accepting a fate that would leave her without a man in her future. Jasper is looking for a place to finally call home after learning money can't buy happiness, he's starting over in Montana, for now. They're not each other's type--turns out, they're perfect for each other. From the moment they met, there's a spark, then he dares her to take a walk on the wild side and throw caution to the wind. Their whirlwind, hot, and crazy romance awakens a part in each of them they didn't know they had. Apart, they're strong individuals, together, they're a force to be reckoned with and become the talk of the town. Good and bad. They have to decide if fiery passions is all they have, or can they find love and survive the give and take of a relationship? Jasper would have to put down roots, and Chelsea must learn to be her own person. Read it to find out if there's a "happily ever after" in Montana! This is the first in a series of books set in Montana, and it's sure to make you want to read the rest.

*An entertaining read...

A well-written short story of a Texan moving to a small town in Montana, and meeting the straight-laced school teacher. A romantic and sexy ride. This story can also be found in the .99 boxed set Fall in Love. The boxed set contains stories with explicit sexual content and language. If you do not wish to purchase this book, all you need do is read several of the previous plot spoiler reviews. Why do reviewers need to tell everything? We might actually want to read the story.

A review copy was provided for an honest review. Tempt Me, Cowboy is the first novella in a new romance-oriented series. It's inviting from the start, and is blazing with passion and chemistry. I hadn't expected a whole lot out of this short read but I ended up liking it a lot. Generally I prefer long full-length novels but Tempt Me, Cowboy gave me everything a 300 page book would and more! The protagonist has her share of issues, with an overconfident Texan who riles her up, their opposites attract romance, and a town full of people who know everyone's business. Drama, flirtation, lively banter, and a lot of fun is what you can expect to find. I found Chelsea—the main heroine—charming and funny. Her propriety and how she's been living her life mirroring her mother's is most amusing. She even has the clothes to prove it. Jasper is as you would predict a walking temptation, he rides a motorcycle, is a Texan Casanova, and has millions of dollars which might as well be monopoly money for all Chelsea is concerned. Thirty-year-old Chelsea Collier has always been seemingly content with the life she lives as a high-school history teacher in small town Marietta, Montana but the moment she meets Jasper Flint she suddenly feels like she's missing out. Jasper gets under her skin and ignites her fire, and makes her want to be more daring—take risks—whatever the consequences. The only flaw with getting involved with a filthy rich man from Texas is that he'll eventually leave—they always do. Not only is he all kinds of trouble but he's bought out the old-depot in town and wants to convert a piece of history—that was supposed to be a museum—into a microbrewery. Never one to be the center of attention Chelsea becomes the main attraction in town when Jasper brings out another side of her she didn't know existed. A one-night stand turned-relationship simply cannot last but maybe love stands a chance. I liked that the protagonist is so blind to how aged she has become by following directly in her mother's footsteps. It's only once she meets Jasper—an out-of-towner—that she takes a good hard look at herself and her life and sees the inevitably dull future that lies ahead. The smaller moments where she takes the reins and does what no one expects are the best ones, and through it all Jasper encourages this. In a small town it's easy to just feel like you can't be anyone but who you've always been, and if you change it's the first thing people notice. For Chelsea it's a thrilling and empowering discovery, one you cannot help but smile at while she figures things out for herself. It won't take you long to read Tempt Me, Cowboy but you'll surely enjoy it! It has a hot and sweet romance, a rich setting, and a bunch of amusing characters in the town of Marietta. Crane really makes you feel like you've just read a full novel's worth of a story—it's truly satisfying. Skillful writing and a cute narrative lends to an afternoon well spent. Each book in the Copper Mountain Rodeo series is written by a different author and the novellas focus on new characters from/around Marietta, MT. I'm eager to see what the other authors will contribute in future installments!

Chelsea collier comes from an old family.   A family that were some of the first settlers in her hometown.   Wanting to turn the old train depot into a museum is her life's work, until it is sold.   Sold to Jasper Flint.    Jasper is a self made rich man who plans to make the depot into a brewery.    As sparks fly Chelsea has to decide if he is worth the risk. I love that this story is set in a small town where everyone knows everyone.    The fact that the history of the town is important endears it even more to me.   Then bring in Chelsea, the daughter left to deal with her mother, with her feisty attitude and love for her family and friends.   Throw wild card of Jasper in her path and you know her life is bound to change.    The fact that Jasper is a bad boy sexy cowboy does nothing but make him more hot and wanted. Anyone looking for a short and hot story this is for you.  The added bonus is the fact that there is a drop dead gorgeous cowboy in it.

This tasty novella starts off the series with a bang! Chelsea is a zipped-up, conservative school teacher deeply entrenched in the small town she's always lived in. Her family legacy keeps her grounded and her mother is always there to make sure she remembers how deep her roots go. Enter Jasper, fresh in town from Dallas to shake things up. He's bought the depot that represents Chelsea's family history and intends to convert it into a microbrewery. How can two people so at odds find common ground? Through scorching chemistry and the bravery to break through walls. Ms. Crane creates a vivid picture of life in small-town Montana, both its challenges and its charms. The romance is hot but sweet, and the couple is the kind you root for until the end. Looking forward to the next Copper Mountain Rodeo story!

I really enjoyed this debut for the Copper Mountain Rodeo series by Megan Crane, Tempt Me, Cowboy. I loved the chemistry between hometown Chelsea Collier and Texan Jasper Flint. This was a fun and fast read I'd recommend to any cowboy lover. When I finished this story, I only wished it were longer. Looking forward to reading more Copper Mountain Rodeo stories.

Short and quick read but packed with a depth of growth. I enjoyed this novella because it was funny, sexy and it taught a lesson: you can't please everyone and to not to be afraid of being who you want to be just because of what others may say and think. Tempt Me, Cowboy is a great introduction to the town of Marietta and the people that call it home.

What a start to a new series! Tempt Me Cowboy by Megan Crane is the 1st book in The Copper Mountain Rodeo series. Having not read anything by Megan before I can honestly say that I am now a new fan. Megan's writing kept me very interested in what was going to happen in this book. The start of the book begins with a bang. The initial interaction between our couple, Jasper and Chelsea had me asking-how can these two people who are opposites possibly end up together? Jasper who moves to Marietta, Montana is a 35 yr. old man who has money and is very sure of himself(I would say he is cocky!)Jasper thinks all women are after him for his money. When Jasper first sees and meets Chelsea he thinks she is waiting for him and because of her conservative clothing and standst she is prissy and disapproving. To discourage her he tells her, she's not his type and he likes his women easy and sleazy! Do I have your interest yet, well purchase the book to see how Jasper's and Chelsea's relationship (which turns HOT) develops to a wonderful ending! You will not be disappointed! Megan is a very talented writer. There will be other books in this series by other wonderful authors. I also must tell you I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tempt Me, Cowboy by Megan Crane is an easy to read cowboy story. It’s the first story from Megan Crane that I have ever read but it surely won’t be the last. It’s a lovely story with great characters. It’s set in a lovely small town in Montana and the views that are described are breathtaking. It feels like a great historic town and you are drawn into the characters of the town as well as the town itself. It’s told from Jaspers side of view and it’s the first time I have read a story narrated by a man. It almost feels like a short story because you are caught up in the story when you are a few chapters in. It took me two chapters to be caught up in the story. The first two took me a while to read but then the story flows. I for one look forward to reading more stories similar to this one. All situated in Montana. I can’t wait for the next tree Montana Born Books to come out.

Chelsea is a history teacher who is afraid to step out of the comfort zone provided by her hometown, classroom & dowdy clothes. Jasper struck it big in oil & decided to favor small town life in his retirement by moving to rural Montana & opening a brewery. These opposites meet as a result of Jasper buying the historic building Chelsea has been working toward acquiring to turn into a museum of the town's history. When the small town girl & rich out-of-towner collide, sparks fly & the next thing you know there is a scandal about town because good old Chelsea finally let her hair down. I adored this short story, and found myself wishing it was longer when it was over. Likable characters, good dialogue, and a motorcycle riding cowboy with a delicious Texas drawl. I'd highly recommend this for a quick, fun read (especially if you enjoy a sweet & sexy man in cowboy boots).

Chelsea Collier thinks the historic depot building is hers to make museum regaling the townspeople of Marietta about her illustrious ancestors until she comes face to face with Jasper Flint and finds out it's been to sold to him.  Chelsea has been living a safe existence at home her entire life and Jasper is the wild new comer looking for a place to put down roots. While Chelsea can see how hot Jasper is, she knows he's the enemy and she WILL get the depot back. Her mama might nag her to death otherwise. Jasper sees Chelsea and even though he thinks she's repressed as all get out he wants her.  The chemistry between Jasper and Chelsea is hot. It's fun to see Chelsea get riled up easily by Jasper and how he keeps trying to figure out what it is about Chelsea that makes him want to get huffy with him. I like how Jasper challenges Chelsea to see that her life could be so much more if she wanted it to. Megan Crane does a fantastic job at trying to capture the beauty of Montana and sharing it with readers. Of course Montana is so vast and beautiful it's a hard job, but I easily felt I was there on that mountain or in that field with them.  Of course I do wish this novella was longer, who wouldn't want to read more about a handsome cowboy? Knowing that this is the first novella in a series is great and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installments. If you're looking for a great read, with a great story, and a hot bad boy cowboy, make sure you check this out!

Tempt Me Cowboy (Copper Mountain Rodeo 1) was the first novella I read from the newly formed group Montana Born Books. I have read books from Jane Porter previously, and was excited to hear about her partnership with three other romance authors. I really enjoyed Megan Crane's writing style. Megan's description of the main characters, Jasper and Chelsea, helped me form a mental image of the bad boy and small-town girl and made the story more interesting. I especially loved the fact that Chelsea was swept away on Jasper's motorcycle, because that's how I met my own husband, at the tender age of 16. We are still together after 41 years and still enjoy riding off into the sunset together on our metal chariot. This was a quick read, held my interest and as others have mentioned, I was hoping Jasper and Chelsea's whirlwind romance would continue for several more pages. I look forward to reading more books from the Montana Born Cowboy series.

This is a work of fiction takes place under the big blue sky of Montana. Chelsea is a high school teacher who wants to talk the new owner of the railway depot she wants him to turn it into a museum ,but the new owner Jasper, who is a well known rich guy has big plans of turning it into a microbrewery.I love how when the two meet you know what each is thinking. The only weakness's the book has it just was not long enough and it was a little misleading in where the heck was the cowboys horse? Its strength was you really related to Chelsea, understood why she took each step, and a nice pleased feeling when the book ended. I would recommend this book to adults (it gets steamy) with a few bucks and some time they want to spend on enjoyment. I would love to see this book made into a movie, Montana scenery and this story, oh yes I would love to see that movie.

In Tempt Me Cowboy by Megan Crane, Chelsea Crawford Collier, history teacher, is happy and comfortable with her life in Marietta, Montana. Yes, she's still living with her mother and the whole town knows she caught her boyfriend cheating on her, but she's happy and Marietta is where she wants to be. Her family is one of the founding families of Marietta, but slowly their wealth has withered. Chelsea would like nothing better than to turn the old train station into a museum, and has been actively fundraising to purchase the building. She is shocked and upset when the train station is suddenly sold, and the new owner has aspirations of turning it into a micro brewery!  As soon as Jasper saw Marietta, he knew it was the place for him. He's made a fortune in the oil business and is now ready to retire, to enjoy a quieter life. When he first sees Chelsea waiting determinedly to talk him out of his plans, he is thrown for a loop! She is dressed too old and unflattering for her age, but she is as hot and fiery as her red hair! Chelsea is convinced Jasper has no plans to stay and make Marietta his home, and she is horrified by the idea of a micro brewery in 'her' train station! Jasper is used to women chasing him, not him having to chase a woman. But the attraction between them is too intense to ignore and Jasper sets out to pursue Chelsea. Chelsea is used to being a good girl, doing what everyone expects of her (especially her mother!). When Jasper convinces Chelsea to let her hair down (literally!) and take a chance with him, Chelsea decides maybe she can have a quick fling with him after all...maybe it's time to make herself happy. She has no intention of getting her heart involved and hurt again, and she's still convinced a man like Jasper will never settle down in Marietta. But Jasper has finally found a place that feels like home, especially if he can convince Chelsea to give a relationship with him a real try. Does Chelsea have the courage to give her heart to Jasper? Can she trust what she feels to take the chance? Will Jasper be able to convince Chelsea he has every intention of sticking around - with her? Tempt Me Cowboy by Megan Crane is a fantastic novella introducing us to the Copper Mountain Rodeo Series. I loved Jasper and Chelsea! Jasper brings out the best in Chelsea, encourages her to break out of the mold she's stuck herself in, and have fun! He genuinely cares about her and wants to be with her...maybe because she's completely opposite from the women he usually sees? There's nothing like a hot, motorcycle riding man pursuing his woman! Chelsea was a lot of fun! Even in this short novella her character really grew, I watched her become more confident as she finally did things for herself, not because it was expected of her! I really hope she can take a chance on Jasper. Megan gives us a fun, hot romance with Tempt Me Cowboy. It was really fun to be introduced to Marietta, Montana. Through Megan's descriptive's I could really see Copper Mountain in my mind, feel the wind on my face, and hear Jasper's drawl! Jasper and Chelsea are both strong characters, and I'm really hoping we'll catch glimpses of them in future books in this series! Tempt Me Cowboy was a quick read, and the length was perfect for Jasper and Chelsea's story with smoothly written script, love, and laughter!

This is a novella. Chelsea lives in a small town in Montana. Jasper is from Texas and moves in to open a microbrewery. Sparks fly pretty fast, but Chelsea is afraid Jasper will not stay. Both have had failed relationships in the past. A good story of a hot romance.

Chelsea Crawford Collier is a high school history teacher who lives with her mom and dresses decades older than her age.  She’s proud to be a Crawford, a member of one of Marietta’s First Families, and knows that her roots run deep in this town.  For the past year she’s been raising money to turn the Marietta Railroad Depot, which is a symbol of the Crawford family’s many contributions to the town, into a museum until she finds out that it has been sold to Texas bad boy, Jasper Flint.  To make matters worse, he wants to turn it into a microbrewery.  Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Chelsea confronts Jasper and tries to convince him why turning the depot into a microbrewery is not only a bad idea, but disrespectful to the people of Marietta, Montana.   What Chelsea didn’t expect was that her intent to confront Jasper would instead turn into a scandal of sorts in this small town.  When Chelsea is seen on the back of Jasper’s motorcycle, the people of Marietta start talking.  It doesn’t take long for word to make its way to Chelsea’s mother.  And she is far from pleased that her daughter is not only the talk of the town, but that she is fraternizing with the enemy.  Despite her mother's silent treatment, which is much worse than any verbal bashing she could unleash, Chelsea knows that she had to choose between what her family stands for and what her heart was telling her to do. The connection between Chelsea and Jasper is undeniable, but Chelsea also knows that she’s never been the desirable type.  Trying to protect her heart, she tells herself that this is temporary and knows that she has to put an end to this affair and focus on convincing Jasper to do the right thing and turn the depot into a museum.  But can she walk away from the passion that she feels towards him?  And will Jasper succumb to her pleas for the depot? Tempt Me, Cowboy, the first book in The Copper Mountain Rodeo Series, is a breath of fresh air.  I love that it’s set in a small town where the people are so close and that history is of great importance.  I loved Chelsea’s character, her feisty attitude and passion for her family.  I also fell in love with Jasper’s bad boy attitude and sexy cowboy style.  I couldn't get enough of this book.  I absolutely LOVED it.  This book is a must read for any cowboy fan.  I was tempted and know that you will be too!

For anyone who has ever questioned whether it is better to just play it safe and do what everyone else expects of you, or to take risks and make yourself happy, this story is for you. Marietta, Montana is like any typical small town, everybody knows everybody and nothing stays secret for more than a couple of minutes. I really found Chelsea's character likable. She grew up in Marietta her whole life and never dreamed of leaving. She is a history teacher at the local school and dresses extremely conservatively. She spends her time volunteering and trying to keep her sometimes obsessive mother happy and do whatever it takes to keep the town gossip from being about her. Then when a stranger, Jasper, moves into the old depot that Chelsea's mother, and therefore Chelsea, wanted to turn into a museum to honor their family heritage, her world gets turned upside down. She is determined to convince Jasper that the depot should be a museum, rather than the microbrewery he was planning on using the building for. Jasper was also a very likable character. I wasn't sure how he would come across considering he is filthy rich and handsome. But he seemed happy to have finally found someone, Chelsea, who wasn't after him for his money. In fact, she wasn't after him at all. But he is the type of person who doesn't really care what other people think about him. But yet he doesn't take that strong self-image and let it go to his head. The story played out was wonderfully. The way Chelsea struggles with the ingrained small town mentality of trying to avoid gossip and balancing that with the feelings Jasper stirs inside of her and the dynamic with her mother was great. I really enjoyed how the love scenes were hot without being obscene, just the right amount of spice. I loved this book and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the Copper Mountain Rodeo novellas. I was given an early copy of this novella by the publisher in exchange for an honest review."

Spontaneous combustion is what happens when you cross a jaded, swoon worthy and knows it kind of guy and a rule-following, history spouting, good girl……Well kind of. There were definitely sparks flying from the first encounter. I was smitten with these characters from page 1. I found Jasper and Chelsea to be very real and likeable. Megan Crane always wows me with her characters voice and in Tempt Me Cowboy, they were spot on. Even though this is a novella, Crane does an excellent job of giving us the complete story. You get a feel for where the characters have been and where they are going. Even though part of me wanted it to be longer (probably because I think I have a little crush on Jasper,) I actually believe it was just right! TMC is the first of 4 novellas that are part of new group of fantastic authors called Montana Born Books. I know that I am looking forward reading more from them.

Marietta is a beautiful small town in Montana. Now it's the home of Jasper Flint. He came from Texas to build a microbrewery in the old depot. Chelsea Crawford Collier is a history teacher who lived here all her life. Her Momma wants the building to be a museum to celebrate the Crawford Family so she tries to persuade him to preserve the town's history. He's not having it but he is very intrigued by the feisty lady who challenges him. Their attraction is powerful. For once in her life Chelsea takes a chance and becomes involved with Jasper. She is filled with happiness, but she feels that their love won't last. Will she risk her heart? Can this cowboy tempt her with his love? This novella is so satisfying. I loved Chelsea. She is feisty and determined to find her HEA. Jasper is a caring, dynamic male who won't give up on their love. These two are so perfect together. Their romance warms your heart and makes you sigh with happiness. When he calls her Triple C, my heart melts. This is such a feel good book. It left me wanting more. Don't miss this passionate love story.

Chelsea Crawford Collier has lived in Marietta Montana all her life. She lives a simple life with her mother and teaching high school history. Her big dream is making the old railway depot into a museum named after her family, one of the longest remaining families in Marietta. Jasper Flint, a self made millionaire from Texas, comes to town with his own dreams of making the depot into a microbrewery. They become more then friends pretty quick, but can they put their differences aside to create a trusting, long term relationship? They both come from totally different worlds and don't see eye to eye on the future of the depot. Lots of gossip in the town causes Chelsea to think hard about the fling they are having. What will she do? What will become of the depot? This was a sweet fast paced story which I really enjoyed.

This is a novella but it certainly doesn't lack in story line or in heat. Chelsea is a history teacher who lives and breathes what she teaches. She has trapped herself into believing life should just be simple and not cause any issues, whether it be in her work life or in her dating life. Jasper is a newbee to town come to make over her families historic train depot into a microbrewery. He is seeking something, always wanting to see something new, take on a new challenge. Are either of them really happy? Or do they need something to break their ruts? As in any small town there are preconceptions to over come and both Jasper and Chelsea have to break out of the shells they have made for themselves, but when they do the fire burns hot and temptations abound.  Definitely recommend picking this one up and I can't wait till the next one in the series comes out... hoping it will be Jenny's story

Chelsea Collier, always the dutiful daughter and school teacher was not expecting to meet Jasper Flint when she went to confront the man who bought the old railway depot. Despite their meeting where Jasper assumed she was there to hit on him, he touched something in Chelsea that she wasn't expecting. Before long she is throwing caution to the wind, ignoring the talk of the people in town and taking the chance at exploring the feelings Jasper inspires in her when they are together. There was just so much I loved about this book; the characters, the emotions, the town. Megan Crane did a fabulous job of bringing the town and characters of Marietta, Montana to life. I really enjoyed the debut novella from Montana Born books. I look forward to visiting Marietta again and again!
