Overview

Tempt The Boss by Natasha Madison

Lauren

Going back to work was supposed to be a painless transition, but when my new boss turns out to be an arrogant, cocky jerk, he quickly turns my professional life into a world of torture.

Okay, fine, calling him an asshat before knowing he was my boss wasn't my finest moment.

Hating him should be easy.

I just never counted on him being so gorgeous or charming when he's not annoying me.

Austin

I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I'm getting are dirty looks and rude comments.
I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I've ever made for myself.

One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again.

Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to Tempt the Boss.

5 star Review Tempt The Boss by Natasha Madison How on earth have I not read Natasha Madison before today? Yes, this is my first book by this author, but it will most assuredly not be my last. This was a great book which was well written and had characters I really fell for; totally loved it. Not only did I fall hard for Austin and Lauren but the secondary characters of Noah, Kaleigh, Barbara were so well rounded that I would love stories about them too. What's a woman to do when she gets back into the workforce after many years spent raising a family? That's the predicament that Lauren finds herself in after her divorce. When she finds a temporary job working through a friend's agency, she is absolutely floored when her boss Austin, turns out to be the arrogant jerk that ran into her car on her way to work on her first day. This was such a fun read, the pay back and escalating revenge as they both fought their so obvious attraction was great. This is one of the best romantic comedies I have read , there were moments where I snort laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. Tempt The Boss was one of those books I didn't want to end and I even slowed down my reading to draw it out further. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to read more from Natasha Madison.

Tempt The Boss is a highly engrossing stand alone Romantic Comedy from Natasha Madison and I have to say I loved this book! This story simply had everything I want from a Rom Com. The story was great and sucked me in right from page one and I just couldn't turn the pages quick enough. It was beyond funny and literally had me laughing out loud while I was reading and last but not least it had just the right amount of angst and feels to give it that heartfelt feel that I always want from a romance. I dare anyone not to love the characters in this book and Lauren and Austin were amazing main characters. They had fantastic chemistry and their banter was spot on. The build up between these two was spot on. Natasha Madison is firmly routed as a one click author for me and I would most definitely recommend this book! 4.5 fatastic stars

I absolutely freaking loved this latest book by Natasha Madison. We first meet Kaleigh and Noah in Tempt The Boss. I knew when I read about them in that book that if they got their own story that it would be phenomenal and it was across the board. Noah was a playboy pure and simple...he made no apologies and everyone knew the score. That all changed when he met Kaleigh. The attraction between them two was combustible, fast, and honestly at times amusing. Kaleigh has her own set of rules and Noah is bound and determined to crush every single one of them. I loved the banter between the two....they kept me laughing throughout the entire book. This was a fabulous read and I highly recommend everyone to read it. I can't wait to read what she comes out with next. Well done!!! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This is one of those stories where I was constantly saying out loud "I can relate". If you've ever worked for a man in a position in control of stressful work conditions. Whether it's a CEO, Director or Primary Business Owner, they all have a similar personality trait - trying at times to work for. Lauren has her work cut out with Austin. However, instead of grin and bare it , Lauren actually gets to do what all of us have secretly dreamt of doing. Oh, and don't worry about Austin. He can give just as good. However, when they both give into the pull they have formed that's not all work related, OH BABY HOT! This was a funny, enjoyable office workplace romance. Definitely one of my favorite tropes in rom-com with enemies to lovers. If you love the shenanigans that any HR person would cringe, this story is definitely for you.

Tempt The Boss was so not the book I was expecting, and I say this in the best possible way. I was totally sold on the single mother going back into the workforce as the PA to a workaholic jerk plot-line, but this turned out to be so much more than that. I do need to warn you. though, Lauren and Austin act like 8-year-olds pranking each other furiously for a great part of the story. So if supposedly adult people acting hilariously immature bugs you, stay away from this story. As for me, I laughed my butt off for most of the book. Lauren is on the way to her first day at her new job when a gorgeous jerk rear-ends her minivan. To add insult to injury he not only suggests she is an incompetent driver, he insinuates she might be drunk too. Austin wants to crawl under a rock when the hot chick whose car he crashed into turns up at his office. Not only is she the sexiest woman he’s ever seen, she is also his new PA. For some reason, he keeps being a jerk to her when all he can really think about is how much he’d like to grab her butt. The sexually charged animosity starts to escalate and soon Austin and Lauren start trying to one-up the other with their pranks. As I said, they do not act like a 38-year-old successful business owner and a responsible single mother, but I did almost bust a gut from all the laughing I did. Austin was completely clueless about his feelings for Lauren, and I found this both hilarious and charming. He starts off as a jerk, progressively grows into a bigger jerk, and then morphs into the best ever book boyfriend. He is one sexy beast, has no problem dirty talking and is… sexually inspired (if you know what I mean) and not afraid to play. Once he becomes part of the family he is absolutely adorable and I completely melted for him. I adored Lauren, she was funny and in charge, she was a great mother and I totally loved her mischievous side. I loved how she grew into her real self once Austin gets his head out of his posterior and makes the right moves. I especially enjoyed her relationship with her sister, parents and her kids. In other words, absolutely everything in Tempt The Boss worked for me in a ginormous way. The sexy scenes between Austin and Lauren are absurdly hot, their chemistry outstanding, did I mention this book is super hot? I laughed, I felt, and I got tingly all over. I loved everyone in this story and I hope we get to see more of all of them. We can get Noah and Kaleigh’s full story, right? RIGHT? I’m so going to check out Ms. Madison’s other books right now… *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*

Tempt The Boss is a laugh out loud funny story with awesome and engaging characters that come alive right off the page! When Lauren has to return to the workforce, after being a stay at home mom she finds herself in a battle of wills with her arrogant "asshat" of a boss! "I can only be a gentleman for so long, baby,” I whisper roughly in her ear and then roll the lobe between my lips. Her head falls back, hitting the wall." Austin is tired of dealing with the revolving door of unsuitable assistants, but his attitude only drives them away. Until he meets his match in the spirited and spunky (and gorgeous) new assistant, Lauren. "You have it so bad for her, and you don’t even know it yet.” “I don’t have anything bad. She almost killed me! I have to make her life a living hell.” I love these characters! Lauren is a down to earth real woman. A strong and sassy heroine who wreaks havoc on the boss and his heart. Austin is cocky and arrogant, but so appealing!! I couldn't help but fall for him right along with Lauren! Tempt The Boss, besides being hilariously funny is sweet and touching, scorching hot and oh so sexy! I've loved all of Natasha Madison's contemporary romance that had action, suspense and angst. Now with this RomCom, Ms. Madison shows that she can do it all!

I loved this book and it even had me laughing out loud at times, I can honestly say that there isn't any of Natasha Madison's work I've loved so far. I've never really been a romantic comedy fan, but this book had it all and it made me appreciate the funny side all the more, because the interaction between both Lauren and Austin worked so well. Divorced mum Lauren is up against it from her first day in her new job, her boss is arrogant and totally in love with his job, but since they first meet Lauren is fighting a battle not to hate him, but there is something about winding Austin up that Lauren can't let go, so when Austin reciprocates it becomes a battle of wills. Until the serious issue makes them face up to the fact that their relationship might be more than a working one. I loved both Lauren and Austin, they were both funny, but when they showed their softer sides I loved that too. I loved the fact the story had more sides and all worked well to make the story perfect.
