This story was revised in on January 12, 2012. In this 15,000 word short story, Amanda, a home making teacher from Texas, believes that love has passed her by. She agrees to start communicating with someone her friend knows in Wisconsin, because she wants children, not because she believes that there is love out there waiting for her.
When, after two months of communicating, Jason proposes, she agrees, thinking it is her last chance for a husband and children. Love doesn't enter into it. Will Jason be able to convince her otherwise?

This is an adult only romance, not a Christian romance.

Loved the story. To those that thought the sex scene waa too much - go to any book store and you will find more sex books within marriage in the Christian section than anywhere else. God created the beauty of sex within marriage and this book did NOT stray from it. I found it endearing and honest. Especially, the nervousness and apprehention of wedding night consumation from a virgins woman's view. I do hope the author writes a follow up book on their lives and children. This author writes with utmost honesty and feelings in this story. I very much enjoyed. Some will say it not 'realistic' but in this world of technology it is for many couples. Also, throughout history, there have been successful arranged marriages. More than 5 stars from me as it was a refreshing change into reality as it is today.

This story was cutely uplifting and very short 66 pages on my nook, however it could easily be transformed into a much longer book just by adding details from before and after the climax of the story......and yes there is a detail sex scene..... but if your not mature enough to handle some "steamy" details..refrain from reading romance books and stick to the subdued and ever famous "chicken soup" chain.

This was a great read. I read some of the comments and i must say before the book began the author pointed out how this was an adult read not a christian read. The story was based on a women who had christian beliefs but it does has some rated R parts. Defentially worth the read and besides it free!!!!

An enjoyable story, in a modern world..that's filled old fashion values!

This story is a a nice romance based on realistic hard working people from small towns looking for that person to have a family with and not sure they every wil. There was a sex scene, but it was their wedding night. I found it refreshing to read a good clean story that still had some spice to it. Just because a person goes to church and is a believer doesn't mean they can't still be a passionate person and share that love and passion with their spouses. This story shows this by how they meet, get to know each other, g ggetting married, and sharing that love and passion after marriage.

Did NOT like this book at all....it mentioned "christians" and thought it would be a good short Christian fiction story book but when it got to the sex description I felt like I was watching a Christian movie with graphic sex scenes (which should not happen). DO not reccomend this book at all. Took it off my nook....:P No wonder it was FREE

I got this book because it looked fun! I got not even half way through & had to quit reading. There's an explicit bedroom scene... It had the potential of being such a fun story. Why does a love story have to involve graphic sex scenes?? Didn't like it...

I was shocked when I saw it was only 66 pages. Itstarted out straight to the point, and just kept rolling. I was really enjoying it and then it just ended!!!! I wanted more!!! She could have taken the story so much further.... but it was still a good read. Wouldnt pay for it but for free heck yea

OMG - The sex was within the marriage, and it was only one scene. She was a virgin in her 30's, was nervous and her husband was patient with her. I thought it was a quick, sweet read. The main character's were written nicely, that you felt you knew them. (ljb)

Although its short, and in a part, very graphic, I thought it was okay. It wasn't the best book I've read, but definatly not the worst. For being free, it was probably one of the better books. I wouldn't recommend, but also wouldn't say to not read.

I wish i hadnt read this. id give it a negative five if i could. Im a teenager and i was looking for free books to read, stumbled across this. It looked good and started okay but it started getting sugestive and adult themed. I had to stop reading. Im never reading another word of this story it sickens me.... but i guess thats just me being a good girl. DONT READ IT!!!!
