This is a sweet, simple story that captures the spirit of Thanksgiving. The children in the story are engaged in varied activities, so all kids should be able to find something to relate to. The soothing rhymes will be comforting to kids of all ages. "Thank you for umbrellas, rain boots and puddles...thank you for Mommy and warm, cozy cuddles." Doris Barrette's paintings are rendered in a rich pallete of autumn colors. I recommend this sweet book to remind children of the joys of family and the spirit of gratefulness.

During Thanksgiving, a little girl points out everything that she is thankful for, from the weather to the turkey on the Thanksgiving table. This is a great read aloud book for children to read because it teaches them to be thankful for what they have.

I bought this for my grandkids this weekend. I loved it! They loved it!
I read it to them and they looked at the beautifully illustrated pictures. It is an excellent way to let the kids know of some things THEY would be thankful for. Perfect Thanksgiving book. Simple, but perfect. I told everyone I know about it.

This is a wonderful book! I bought it for my 2 and 3 year old sons, and they just love it. Even now, they still put it in the book pile for bedtime reading. It is warm with wonderful illustrations.
