Overview

When I first began my journey as a pet sitter in Falmouth on Cape Cod, I had no idea where the journey would lead me. Pet sitting involves visits to clients' homes, giving peace of mind to pet owners, and eliminates the trauma that many pets experience when they are boarded in an unfamiliar environment.

I believe pets are God's example to us of unconditional love. If we could be half as loving, loyal, trusting, and awesome as pets, we would really be doing something.

Much to my surprise, in the past fifteen years my earnings have exceeded $300,000. Much more than income though, was the satisfaction and love I received in return from fur friends.

About the Author

I was born in Worcester, Ma in September of 1958. I was raised in Boylston until 4th grade, then we moved to Sterling, Ma where I attended Florence G. Houghton School through 8th grade. Later I attended Wachusett High School in Holden. I graduated 1976 and joined the Army soon after. I was one of the last of the WACS (Women's Army Corp) as they were phased out in December. The Army then started co-ed Basic Training. My 18th Birthday I went through the Gas chamber exercise-such fun..(not) While in the Army, my occupation was called COMSEC Repair- (Communications Security Repair). I repaired encrypted radios and was stationed in Germany at age 18. It was an awesome experience I'll always be thankful for. I also got to visit Austria, Switzerland and Holland. After the Army I attended Quinsigamond Community College, graduating in 1982 with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. I worked security in various capacities over ten years and also attended Bridgewater State College graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. I have always loved animals and my parents were the same way. I always wanted to find a way to work with them on a daily basis and was fortunate enough to have succeeded.
