Sally at ten years was a tomboy, on Barclay Mountain. Barclay was once a booming coal mining area. In the 1930''s when work was hard to come by, her father moved the family back to Barclay. He had a job digging coal. Sally''s family consisted of mom and dad, a sister, Annie the cow. Her sister was Older and wasn''t around much.
