¿The Arctic Habitat¿ is a book that describes the way of life in the arctic. This book touches topics such as animals, weather, and plants. This book also describes how animals gain energy, stay warm, and how animals find food. Besides these topics, the book discusses how animals stay safe, build homes, and migrate or hibernate.

This book was very simple for my students to understand and it briefly showed all parts of the habitat. What I really liked about this book is that there are several books that go along with this one. One book for each habitat and the structure of each book is the same. So it repeats the points I want my kids to learn and understand. So we were able to hear the likenesses in each habitat up to 6 times. So this reinforced the information that was pertinent to their education. This book has great pictures for the kids to soak in and enjoy. When Science time came they would get excited to see if I would grab one of these books to read. They are definitely worth purchasing for any library, classroom or home.
