4.5 Star Review of The Baby Maker By Lili Valente  This book was a great read. I thoroughly enjoy Lili Valente’s writing style and The Baby Maker had great main and secondary characters. This is the story of neighbours Dylan Hunter and Emma Haverford. Emma is desperate to have a baby and decided after a nasty break up that she will take a rather unconventional route to make her dreams come true. After over hearing two women talking about her hunky neighbour and his family reputation as baby makers, Emma decides to take the bull by the horn and offer Dylan the “deal” of a lifetime. Dylan’s first instinct is to say no to his sexy neighbours’ outrageous request. However it is obvious that there is a strong attraction sizzling between Emma and Dylan and despite his determination to control his lust, Dylan agrees to help Emma with her baby making plans. There were many snort worthy, laugh out loud moments whilst reading The Baby Maker; though having said that there were also elements of sadness, romance, kindness and swoon worthy moments. This was a fun, hot and oh so charming read which had me totally invested from the start. I loved Emma and Dylan, separately and especially together. The secondary characters were great and I look forward to reading more about them in future books. I particularly enjoyed how Ms.Valente gave us an epilogue that was a fitting ending to the book and I have no doubt that we will hear more about Dylan and Emma’s life together in future books (well I hope so). Congratulations Ms. Valente on a great book..

Emma, whose biological clock is ticking away, add in the fact that she has endometriosis, which makes her conceiving even more difficult. When her fiance leaves her, she leaves the hustle and bustle of working life and heads to the country to run her own vineyard. Dylan dislikes his new neighbor, she's trying to take the land he wants to buy for his dad so they can make wine again. When Emma hears the rumors about the Hunter men, she offers him to back away from the land, if he helps her conceive. Follow their adorable story as they navigate trying to have a baby and keep their feelings out of it I not only loved this story of Dylan and Emma but I LOVED his brother's and his 2 nephews. And Emma's sister I feel would be a perfect match for Dylan's brother who opens the motorcycle/brewery with him.

Dylan Hunter has just about reached his goal of doing what he wants with his life after putting his life on hold to take care of his family. The last thing to accomplish is to purchase the pumpkin patch owned by a neighbor so he can put in vines again to appease his dad. Emma Haverford is putting a clink in his plans by also bidding on the property. After she caught her fiance cheating she leaves her past behind to start over. Emma has a deal for Dylan, one of the rumored baby makers. She'll give up on the property if he'll provide her with her deepest wish of a baby. She'd like it no strings attached. It really took a lot of nerve for Emma to approach him as he's given her the impression that he doesn't like her. He doesn't even know her more than to know she is also a neighbor. Dylan is a wonderful man who puts his family above his own needs and wants. Dylan actually ends up pursuing Emma, which was a nice twist in this story. Their bantering added a layer of humor. I thought that was great. It also lead to some underlying heat that added another layer. You can definitely tell that Dylvan and Emma were more mature than the norm. I was impressed how they both approached the possible arrangement. Neither one is stupid and nor is Emma desperate. She just has goals in life that she would like to accomplish. I like that the story was told by both their points of view so you got to know what each one of them is thinking. It made me connect more to the story. I love Dylan's dad and his brother, Tristan and Rafe. Though Rafe comes across as a bit of a manwhore. We were also introduces to Emma's sister, Carrie. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. I hope Carrie gives Rafe a really hard time

The Baby Maker is a standalone novel by one of my all-time favorite authors, Lili Valente. I have read every single word she has written. I know once I open one of her books I will not want to put it down. That was definitely the case with Baby Maker. I wanted the next swoon moment. Their next laugh. Their next turn-on. I wanted it all. A few months ago Emma moved to small town Merceyville from the craziness of Silicon Valley. Instead of being in front of the computer for seventy hours a week she was growing vines in Wine Country. Giving tours in her winery. Waking up early and cuddling on the couch at night with a good book. She was also admiring her sexy neighbor from afar and giving him shit from up close. He wanted some acreage from their neighbor. The same three she wanted. She wasn’t going to give in but then she thought of her dream. A dream that Dylan could help her achieve. A baby. A no-strings attached, sex only for sake of getting her pregnant business proposal. It was a crazy idea but it could work. Dylan thought it was crazy. There was no way he could go through with it. But...it would fulfill two dreams for one. She would have her baby and Dylan would have the land he needs to go after his dream. Plus, three months of smoking hot sex with a woman that looked like a hot librarian that he wanted to shush him. He had his own amendment to the deal then it was time to get her knocked up. He could do this. His family had a reputation and it was time to use it. No problem. Yes, problems! He liked her. Like, liked her liked her. It was suppose to be sex only but he wanted to wine and dine her. Picnic and devour her. This was not the plan. He was not suppose to fall. He didn’t know it but she was falling too... I love these two! Dylan is swoon-worthy, sweet, and filthy-mouthed. He is also a man who would do anything for his family, neighbor, or even stranger. Emma is a strong, independent woman that knows exactly what she wants. She wants a baby even if she doesn’t have a prince to share it with. Will Dylan turn out to be that prince? Will there be a baby makes three family one day? Overall...I loved, loved, loved it. The characters. The story. The sexiness. The laughter. The picnics. The love. The country. Plus, it was an added bonus that Santa Rosa, CA, my hometown and forever town was in the book along with surrounding ones. I am soooo looking forward to the next book, The Troublemaker. That’s the perfect name btw. #sonomacountystrong P.S. Lili, you rock at naming animals. Quotes: Emma Haverford, thorn in my side, salt in my wound, paper cut in my eye, has beaten me to coffee yet again. I take her, claim her, prove to her that she can trust me to deliver, to ensure she never leaves my bed unsatisfied. “You’re sure?” I tease as I back toward the door. “I’m down with fulfilling your toilet fantasies, baby. I’m a gentleman on the street, but I’ll be your freak on the can.” (Believe me, you will laugh)

Super cute book. Super sweet with some humor and hot times in between. Emma and Dylan go from rivals to the horizontal mambo. What happens in between is a deal that goes a tad bit crazy. When feelings come into play it always throws a monkey wrench in the works. This was a well developed story, I didn't feel like the author left anything hanging, and she wrapped it up nicely. Emma's sister Carrie is a hoot and a half. Don't miss this one y'all. Told in dual pov.

Emma Haverford has had enough of the big city life and her last straw was when her fiance went up and had an affair with another woman and knocking her up. The one thing that Emma has been longing for, another woman got instead, a baby. So off she went to the wine country to start her own adventure in wine. Dylan Hunter has sworn off women. His one goal is to get his family's farm out of hardship and pursue his dream of opening his own brewery. So when his curvy, sexy as sin neighbor sets off a bidding war for the land right next to Dylan, oh boy is he mad. However, Dylan can't deny that even when good old Emma drives him up a wall in anger, her beauty, smart mouth and sassiness sets his body parts on fire. So when Emma approaches Dylan with a proposition that they spend the next three months working on getting her pregnant, no strings attached for the land he wants, Dylan thinks real hard about it. A kiss shared between Emma and Dylan makes Dylan long for Emma, and she knows that she can convince him to help her out. What Emma and Dylan don't expect is falling hard for one another and the their once thought out plans are blurred. Will either one be brave enough to tell the other how they feel? Will Emma finally get what she has always wanted? What a sizzling hot, tortuous, sweet, heart wrenching story Lili Valente wrote. Emma is strong, witty, smart, sweet, sexy and overall sassy woman. Dylan is a kind, loyal, sinfully hot, dirty talking cowboy who knows how to turn a woman's world upside down with just a look. Emma and Dylan's story started as a proposition but soon bloomed into something neither was expecting. They brought out the best in one another and their relationship was sexy but sweet at the same time. Well done Lili, well done. There is a reason I can't put your books down and I call you one of my favorite authors.

Lili Valente weaves magic with the books she writes. I'm always hooked and this book was no different. This was the perfect read to get me in a fun happy mood. I laughed quite often. I can tell you I already love the men in Dylan's family. I couldn't get enough of Dylan and Emma. They were just too adorable on the down low. They have a ton of chemistry that burns up the pages. I can't tell you how much I loved the end of this book. My heart was happy sighing. I also enjoyed the set up for the next book. I'm going to eagerly awaiting for it.

Emma and Dylan get what neither was expecting!!! Okay, I will admit it, I was a little weary when I started to read The Baby Maker. But because it was written by Lili Valente, I knew she would add her own personal touch to the story. She did that and more! Yes there are many tropes and a lot of "baby maker" stories. But Emma is a one of a kind and perfect as our heroine. Dylan is a grumpy lonely man, but we know deep down he just needs to find the right one. Off the bat, the story starts off unconventional, but it makes me want to know more about the Hunter men. I love them all! When Dylan can no longer resist Emma, sparks fly all over the place. Their chemistry will melt your Kindles. The goal to make a baby is still there, but quickly it is put on the back burner. These two can not get enough of each other. The Baby Maker is sexy and will melt you into a puddle of goo. The next book is bout Dylan's brother and from what I have read so far, there is so much more that these characters will bring us. I loved all the words on this book and loved the ending more.

The Baby Maker is an adorable, fun, sexy-as-sin romp that had me engaged and entertained the whole time! Lili Valente TOTALLY "knocked" this one outa the park! I absolutely fell in love with both main characters, Emma and Dylan, and the plot had me turning the pages quicker than I wanted! I couldn't put this book down until the very last word! Even the secondary characters were fully engaging and made me want to move to Mercyville! If you like your reads FULL of fun, emotional, with a "take-no-prisoners", strong-willed heroine and a swoon-inducing, charismatic, HAWT hero that'll have you alternately laughing your butt off, fanning yourself and struggling to NOT fall hopelessly, head-over-heels in love. then THIS is definitely the book for YOU!!! I can't recommend this one highly enough!!!

The Baby Maker is Lili Valente’s newest romance. It will leave you smiling and sighing with contentment upon turning of the final page. Her ability to create vivid and entertaining stories through her masterful writing are always a pleasure to read, and her characters always charm and captivate me. Emma is a strong and confident woman who knows what she wants. She wants a baby before her biological clock stops ticking. The only problem is she doesn’t have a man in her life to help her accomplish what she wants. So upon overhearing about the ability of the Hunter men, her neighbors, to get the job done with a shake of a hand, Emma decides this is her only option. The only problem is she has been butting heads with Dylan Hunter over land. But her determination is prevailing. Emma confronts Dylan with her plan - a baby in exchange for the land. Despite the powerful connection he feels with Emma, his first impulse is to say no. But the intense attraction they share won’t permit him to reject her offer, especially if his prize will ultimately be the land he’s been after. But from their first night together the connection they share grows quickly leaving them both to wonder how they will ever been able to say goodbye. I fell in love with Emma and Dylan pretty quickly, and once again Ms. Valente included many fantastic support characters which rounded out this story as well. The continuing banter and oh-so-hot and steamy moments shared between Emma and Dylan left me laughing and swooning and in need of a cold shower. Lili Valente continues to outdo herself novel after novel keeping her name at the top of my authors I must read list. Well done Ms. Valente.

The Baby Maker by Lili Valente is a new stand alone romance told in dual POV between the infamous Baby Maker himself, Dylan Hunter, and the woman that bargain's for his baby making stuff, Emma Haverford. Another wonderful, funny, romantic, endearing story from one of my absolute MUST-READ authors. Emma's clock is ticking. She split from her cheating fiance, quit her successful Silicon Valley job and bought a winery and is now learning to appreciate the slower side of life in the country. Except, the only thing she can't approach slowly is her ticking biological clock. Dylan is angry with his pumpkin patch owning neighbor that he is even entertaining the idea of selling his land to the new girl in town, the aggravating Emma Haverford. He wants that land to start growing vines again for his family's farm and to keep his dad off his back. Nevermind she offered 10K ovr asking, this guy calls Dylan the "grandson he never had". The nerve of the new girl to try and steal the land to expand her winery! Nevermind that she is beautiful and sassy and his neighbor... When Emma propositions Dylan about giving the baby making a try for three months and she'll back of the sale he is conflicted. The story only gets exponentially better from there. The family dynamic of the Hunters and between Emma and her sister. The romance that blossoms between Emma and Dylan. It is sexy and hot and sweet and the characters are wonderfully developed. I am so excited to see what happens in the next standalone story, The Troublemaker! Enjoy!

The Baby Maker is Lili Valente's newest sexy standalone. It's no secret how much I love Lili and her books. She always gives me what I want! Sexy, funny, silly characters who steal my heart. What's a strong, independent woman who wants a baby to do? Ask her sexy, farmer neighbor for a few months of fun. What can go wrong? Emma wants a baby and Dylan is the perfect specimen. Only thing is he can't stand her. Or so she thinks. When she gets up the courage to ask him, he doesn't instantly say yes. Dylan thinks Emma is hot as hell. But can he walk away from his own child? She's offering him the one thing he needs. Land to grow his business. But after one taste of Emma he can't walk away. And after the next time, it's even harder to walk away. How much harder will it be after a few months? I loved Dylan! I loved that he's a real man who doesn't have a hard time admitting how he feels. Telling Emma what he wants. Asking for more. It was a nice change of pace to watch the man chase the woman! Emma has her reasons and I love her for them. She's strong, smart and determined. But she's no match for sexy as sin Dylan and his sexy hair and dirty mouth. Together they have sizzling chemistry and hilarious banter! "I'm so sorry. It's the oysters. They overpowered me. I couldn’t help myself." "The oysters, huh? My irresistible sex vibe had nothing to do with it?" I've been following Dylan's movements like a chocoholic tracking the last dark chocolate truffle at the party.

Dylan Hunter is a man possessed. He’s been running his family’s farm for years and he’s ready to move on, do his own thing and just… chill for once. There’s just one small, annoyingly tempting problem. The plot of land next door to his farm is up for sale. He was going to buy it for his dad to appease him from losing his vineyards to disease and hops and chickens. Long story short. Grapes were bad and Dylan ripped them out and replaced them with barley to make hops, and beer. Or that’s his dream anyway. Now, he just sells his produce to others. But, with that piece of land, his dad would be happy. Content. And Dylan could move on with his life. So, what’s stopping him? Well, it’s that little problem. She comes is a sexy, seductive body, cute smile and blonde curls and she wants that land too. She’s in a bidding war with him. Emma Haverford, knew Dylan wanted the grape grove, but she needed it more. She was the winemaker after all. But, there was something else she wanted to make. And she needed Dylan’s help for that. So, she offers him a deal. She’ll step back, if he’ll knock her up. Dylan can’t believe Emma asked him to do that and that he’s tempted. Oh, so tempted. Will he give in to temptation or will Emma’s bun remain uncooked?

This book is hilarious!  From neighbors on opposing sides of a land deal, to neighbors with a mutually beneficial arrangement, the chemistry between Dylan and Emma is outrageous!  This book is HOT!  There is no other way to put it.   Dylan is a man that spends his life making sure his family is taken care of, and has no room for anything else.  Emma has a bad history with relationships, but has come to the decision that she can have what she desperately wants without the relationship.  Throw in a little small town gossip, some moonlight, and a crazy agreement, and you have all the makings for some fun!  Of course, things like this rarely go as you expect them to.  The chemistry and interaction between Dylan and Emma are fun, and mostly lighthearted.  I enjoyed seeing what they built, and I can't wait for the next book in the series!
