Single parents Liam and Shelby are devastated to learn that their infant sons had been switched at birth. Much as they try to deny their predicament – and their chemistry – the facts are soon made plain, and before long they do the only thing they can in the situation: they get married. But with Liam’s proud father set against his no-longer “real” grandson, with Liam determined never to be hurt again and with Shelby caught up in her new family’s dysfunction, can this marriage-for-the-children ever become real? It’s all very pleasant, its conflicts believable but not vicious, and Shelby’s vintage store, Treasures, sounds like a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. This review appears in the April 2018 issue of Romantic Intentions Quarterly.
