## So frustrating. OMG. Another frustrating book by Ms. Lemmon. A few years ago I read her book "Tempting the Billionaire" and was very disappointed by it. This story was exactly the same. I could write the same exact review for this one. The hero's hot and cold act went on forever. He wants her but doesn't want her. Over and over. He can't be "all in". He doesn't even want to. The story started off so amazing. I thought I had a winner. Then all of a sudden both hero AND heroine completely changed. She was so strong in the beginning....but she became so needy. And Eli kept contradicting himself. Pushed her away again & again. And then, SHE had to go after HIM? What a damn wimp. Gah! So many hours wasted on this very frustrating book.

For me this one started out fairly strong but slowed at bit as I got more into it. There were a lot of ups and downs, some frustrating points but still a good read. Not my favorite in the series but it was still worth the time.

Introducing Elijah Crane, middle son, former Marine who has been invalided out after losing a leg to a roadside bomb. His father and brothers are pushing him to join the family business Crane Hotels as COO but he is resisting. Eli has run off 10 personal assistants from Isabella Sawyer's personal assistant company and she is worried that Eli's older brother Reese will fire the company if they can't get a PA to stick, so rather than try to find someone tough enough to withstand Eli's rudeness Isabella decides to take the role herself, incognito. This started off great, brooding, damaged, billionaire bad boy and a feisty, strong-willed woman who won't put up with his nonsense? Sign me right up. Unfortunately somewhere around midway through the book I thought it ran out of steam plot wise and reverted to rinse-and-repeat sex scenes and unnecessary descriptions of Isa's clothing. It's funny because we get too many descriptions of Isa's clothing (even down to the three dresses she tries on and discards, the jeans and ruffled top combo she wears, and then eventually rejects in favour of a little black dress) but I couldn't tell whether Isa was supposed to be Marilyn Monroe style curvy or verging on the plus side. And then, the horrors, Isa gives Eli an ultimatum(view spoiler). Good start, degenerated into predictable angst midway, had several uninteresting minor plots that needed to be stronger or ditched. You might guess that I have had very little sleep, it's just gone 4 am and I'm kind of grouchy but I hate it when a book starts well and doesn't deliver. Nice cover though.

I read all three in the series. I wasn't sure they would be worth the money but they totally were. They are full length stories with a lot of heart, humor and love.

This is the 3rd book in the Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend reading this series in order. Elijah AKA Eli meets Isabella AKA Isa (or Sable) when she comes to work for him as his assistant. He has fired and sent away all the others she has tried to get him to work with. A battle torn veteran, he has lost more than his leg. Isa puts up with a lot of attitude from Eli so she can build up her business. She decides to put herself in as the temporary employee. The sparks star flying from the moment they meet. This series is always full of heat, hot men, and surprises. This story fits in very well. We get to see more of our favorite characters from previous books as also. Such a fun read. ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review only.

Eli is most definitely surly, trying to chase everyone away so he can be alone. He never counted on Isabella coming in and turning his world upside down. She is the perfect match for him, always pushing and challenging him, and not taking his crap. The chemistry is off the charts as soon as they meet, and even though they give in to the attraction, Eli cannot or will not offer Isabella more than a physical relationship. Unfortunately, Isabella wants more than Eli can offer, and after previously being in a loveless relationship, she knows she deserves it. I loved the slight Beauty and the Beast theme going on and that they both grew and changed throughout the book. If you love broody heroes, then Eli is perfect for you! I've really liked this series and was especially looking forward to Eli's book - I was not disappointed! 4.5 stars I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

I've been waiting for Eli's book! I've been waiting for Eli's book from the beginning of this series; I just knew I was going to love it and I wasn't wrong. The books standalone so don't worry if you haven't read the others first. Each of the Crane men are unique, and so are their stories, but Eli's been to war and come back a different man. Isabella Sawyer's company, Sable Concierge, depends on references from high-profile clients. She has been hired by Crane Hotels to provide someone to help Eli get organized and transition back into the family business and take his place as COO of Crane Hotels. After Eli fires 10 PAs sent from her company she decides to tackle the beast head-on herself. This story grabbed right from the beginning. I'm a sucker for a man suffering the way that Eli is and the story is all the sweeter when that man meets his match in a strong woman like Isabella. Jessica Lemmon's attention to detail regarding Eli's injury and the pain he feels makes this story so believable. I know it's fiction but the story and characters seem very real to me and all of my emotions were engaged. I wanted to hold and cuddle Eli and at the same time smack him and tell him to wake up so he doesn't lose Isabella. The path to their HEA is not smooth or without pain for both of them but Jessica delivers as she always does. It was great to once again visit with the other members of the Crane family in this book. The only thing I can think of that would make this series better is another story to catch us up with the lives of all the Cranes a year or two down the road. A review copy was provided by the publisher via NetGalley but this did not influence my opinion or rating of the book. *****Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions dot com*****

Going to war and dealing with the after effects from an life altering injury have made Eli Crane a hardened man, one that is far from the carefree man he use to be, but with time he is starting to see glimpses of that man return. His family wants to him to jump head first into the family business, but he's not so sure he's cut out to be the man their expecting him to be, so he tries to shut them out, and avoid his duties. So, they devise a little plan of their own, and hire him an assistant in hopes that she can motivate him to come out the sheltered world he's created for himself and get more involved with Crane Industries. After firing several of the assistants sent to him, he hopes his family has taken the hint and given up, but that hope is quickly dashed when Isabella Sawyer walks through his door, and the minute she does he instantly knows he's just met his match! Isabella Sawyer is a determined woman who doesn't let much of anything ruffle her feathers, but the minute she meets the alluring billionaire Eli Crane she is instantly rattled, he tests her patience, pushes her buttons and yet she can't seem to stay away. He has just sent ten of her most highly qualified assistants packing, deeming them unfit to do their job for one reason or another, and she is mad as hell, and on a mission to make sure this deal with Crane Industries does not fail. But the more time she spends with the brooding billionaire, the more she starts to see the man hiding underneath the hardened shell and she like what she sees, but she's not so sure that's a professional line she is willing to cross... I loved Eli's story so much, it was everything I thought it would be and SO much more, he had my heart in his hands from page one! Watching him struggle to come to terms with his new reality and find a way accept it was heart wrenching at times, but also proved to be quite inspiring too. He chose not to let his injury define him or the life he would lead and watching him find love along the way too was a very touching and beautiful thing to witness. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting each of Ms. Lemmon's billionaire bad boys, and I have to say Eli just edged his way into the lead as my favorite, his story left an indelible impression on my heart!! I highly recommend you give this read a try, it will have you laughing, smiling, blushing, and swooning from start to finish...and leave secretly wishing you had a billionaire bad boy of your very own!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

4 1/2 STARS! Another awesome Crane brother! I have loved this entire series and just can't fathom that it's over ... can't we find a long lost sibling somewhere? :) The characters are great, the family connection is so heartwarming, and the chemistry is off the charts! There was some weakness in the plot in that he really had too easy of a transition back into real life with no PTSD, etc. other than a little survivor's guilt, but overall it was a great book! Former Marine Elijah Crane is not adjusting well to being home. He worked hard to heal after the injury that ended his military career, and now he just wants people to leave him alone. He does NOT want to take on a roll in the family business no matter how much his brother's continue to harass him about it. They keep sending one personal assistant after another to his home office to try to get him doing work and he keeps running them off ... until she walks in the door ... Isabella Sawyer's employment agency is soon going to get a bad reputation for all of the assistant's the Crane's are going through, so she decides to take matters into her own hands and shows up herself as the next assistant for Eli. Her no nonsense attitude catches his attention immediately and soon he doesn't want her to leave! They end up being good for each other and their passion is mega hot ... but can it lead to anything real?

Complex hero and heroine, who fall in love with each other despite their pasts and challenges. I loved Eli in the previous books in this series, I knew it would take a special woman to break through his gruff exterior. Isa is a woman who wants to build her own success, not follow her family's expectations. Both of these characters are drawn to each other, not that they want to be. I really enjoyed watching Eli finally realize he was in love, it was a hard fall for him. There is plenty of that Lemmon humor in this book, which I have come to expect from her

What a wonderful, sexy heartfelt story! I've wanted more Eli since I met him in book one, The Billionaire Bachelor, and I am so happy with the outcome. Excellent addition to the series! Eli is just so wounded, and I don't mean from his missing leg. He's taken so much on his shoulders and has so many walls up. It made him super grumpy but somehow sweet at the same time. I couldn't wait to watch his barriers break down and for him to start to heal. I loved Isabella and her strength. She was such a strong, in charge character and I really loved how grounded she was. Eli and Isa together were awesome. I loved Eli and Isabella’s animosity and tension. They had a great chemistry happening and I loved watching it build and ignite. Besides Eli and Isa’s building heat, there is a lot of underlying emotion happening as Eli works things out. I got choked up several times. Those walls though, they were killers and they made for some ups and downs in he and Isa's relationship. Even though I understood his pain and struggles, I didn't always like his actions and wanted to smack him on several occasions. I really enjoyed the build not only to their relationship, but to Eli's epiphany as well. The Crane brothers are so fun and I love their good natured ribbing with one another and Merina and Rachel as well. When they got together it created some fun, light moments which where needed. I also love that there dad Alex, Big Crane, and the fact that he finally got some closure for his story that has been lightly talked about since book one. Really great story with a good pace. I loved the details and the build. A nice amount of drama and a lot of emotion. While I did enjoy their push and pull for the most part, by the end I was more than ready for them both to get it together. The ending was sweet but wrapped up a little to nicely for me, it was still a great HEA though. I love the feeling of peace I got after reading this and am so happy for the closure that Eli got. Isa is the perfect match for him. I love this series and I'm going to miss it. Great characters and a fantastic family, this series is a must read. Complimentary copy received for honest review.
