The Belly Burn Plan WORKS!!! I saw Traci Mitchell on the Steve Harvey show, and I liked her simple, no nonsense approach to a healthy lifestyle – without an excel spreadsheet of rules and regulations. I have a very hectic lifestyle and I know me - if I had to measure, chart and workout daily - I would not be able to maintain that program as a lifestyle. Traci is so committed to a lean, fit, and healthy body, she actually offered 6 weeks FREE tips, principles, recipes (a total of 65) , meal plans, workout schedules (designed based on current level of fitness) and encouragement. FREE!! Who does that??? The Belly Burn Plan provides the following information under Part 1: The Belly Burn Plan Principles and Part II: The Belly Burn Plan. She provides great tasting and easy recipes in Part IV: Quick and Easy Belly Burn Recipes and Part III: Lasting Lifestyle Changes which for me were foundational truths in understanding my bulging waistlines. My Testimony: I lost 20 lbs. and major inches because Traci and only Traci first convinced me of the importance of sleep (pages 180 – 187). I was going through my changes, having menopausal insomnia and studying for my Ph.D. comprehensive exam. I was following her program, and folks were losing weight and I was losing inches, but not pounds. She convinced me that it was not necessarily my diet (I was eating pretty good, but not great), but my sleeping habits. I can't say enough great things about this book! What I like most are the easy to follow, quick and delicious recipes. Although simple, they have given me and my family some great ideas for healthy and delicious meals and snacks. I keep this open on my kitchen counter every day as my guide to healthy eating and living!
This is a great book with an easy-to-follow plan to improve your figure and health. Even after following the plan for a couple weeks, my body looks and feels better. My stomach is flatter/less bloated, I have more energy, and I am not craving junk food. The plan is detailed and simple to implement. The cleanse is a great kick-off with healthy snacks and light meals that did not leave me starving, unlike other cleanses I have tried. Traci's recipes and meal plans are fantastic! A shopping list for each body type is provided to make your organization and prep work even easier. I have enjoyed the work-outs so far and love the fact that I do not have to leave my home or have special equipment to complete. Each exercise is clearly explained and put together for a total body work-out for any fitness level. This book is a great resource for anyone looking to live a healthier life!
I Love this book! Very educational. I was looking for a program that will get my 48yr old body back in shape and this is it. I found the information on what to eat and why to be very easy to understand. The information on exercise was exactly what I needed to understand why I haven't had success in the past to lose weight. I changed my workouts and ther foods I was eating and I'm down 25lbs!! The recipes are really tasty and I leave the Belly Burn open on my kitchen counter as a reference for healthy eating everyday. This book is a must for every household.
The Belly Burn Plan not only provides tasty recipes and healthy habits it also includes great efficient workouts for people with limited time. My favorite thing about the plan is that it creates habits that I found easy to stick with once the six week plan was done. The 3 day cleanse was a great way to kick off the change in eating habits. This plan makes you quickly realize how impactful the type of food you put in your body is, how important sleep is and how much you can get out of a high intensity workout (adapted for different fitness levels) that doesn't take too much time. I have never been a good dieter because I love food so much... but this plan has worked well for me in a variety of ways and I intend to stick with it!
This book is interesting, well-written, and easy to follow. I have tried the 3-day cleanse and it worked for me (I lost 6 pounds) to kick-start the exercise and recipe/eating program. I have always had stubborn belly fat, and this is the first time that I found an author able to explain what causes this and exactly what types of food and exercise will target this area. I took part in a program with Traci Mitchell about 11 months ago, lost 20 pounds, and have managed to keep it off ever since - her advice really works!
