"The Best And Worst Of Times" is a compilation of 9 poems that touch on: my childhood experience of the Rhodesian bush war; the loss of my Dad in an ambush on the farm, during the dissident/Gukurahundi era in Matabeleland (after Rhodesia became Zimbabwe); my experience of having to live and work in other countries due to economic hardship at home; the incredible unity of Zimbabweans as they stood as one in opposition to the 37 year long dictatorship of Robert Mugabe.
