Overview

Dear Fellow Citizen:

The themes expressed in this book are critically important for America as a nation and its citizens; whether Christian or atheist, conservative or liberal.

America became a great nation because of the culture formed by the Bible and Constitution. The Bible teaches that humans have free will but they also ultimately must answer to their Creator. This instills morality, and a desire to help fellow humans in need. Following these teachings keep a society from descending into a heartless every-person-for-themselves one. The Constitution formed a government that fostered freedom among the citizens. This freedom to live as desired, and own the fruits of their efforts, propelled citizens and America to greatness.

America cannot maintain her current level of success if these twin pillars of her foundation are no longer followed. She will cease to be great and every citizen will suffer.

The book has three sub-sections. The first is the Bible, which heavily influenced most if not all of America's founders. Second is the Constitution, which created the government that allowed America to prosper. Third is the solutions section which deals with several major challenges facing America today.

Topics with respect to the Bible include God-given free will, the theories of Evolution and Creation, Jihad - Holy War, and Old and New Testament teachings with respect to government. The Founders used the Bible as a cornerstone for American society.

The other cornerstone for America is the Constitution. It is the contract between the citizens and their government, and should be treated as such. But to societal detriment, portions of this contract are being ignored, rather than amended or changed. Special focus is placed on the 1st and 10th Amendments, key planks in the Bill of Rights.

Like other nations, America will always face problems. She overcame slavery by fighting a Civil War and defeated totalitarian regimes in World War II. Today she faces threats of an approaching fiscal crisis in government and an abandonment of the core values which made her great. Solutions are presented in the last chapters.

A conservative tends to believe government should have little to do outside of the basic functions of protecting the nation and its people. A liberal will believe government should be involved in bettering society by "investing" in selected areas and managing the economy. The Constitution allows both to be happy – If the bulk of government occurs at the state level – where it was during America's first 150 years. Everyone will also be able to clearly see which state policies lead to prosperity and which do not.

Thankyou for your consideration of this book.

The Bible and Constitution Made America Great

Freedom and liberty. God gives it to humans. Government can protect it or take it away from citizens.

There is abundant evidence of America's biblical Christian heritage in government. The Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution, and state constitutions refer reverently to God.

In American society: The Bible is a guide for the life of the individual. The Constitution is the rulebook for government. Both documents promote human freedom and liberty.

The national government in America has never been a Theocracy. It has no authority to mandate how citizens worship God, or how they care for their neighbor.

Solutions

The solutions to most of America's current problems can be found by returning to the Constitution.

Numerous federal government programs and agencies need to be transferred to states, their proper constitutional place.

State control of these programs increases citizens' freedom by allowing them to tailor their government to specific state needs. This is especially true in America today, with the citizenry deeply divided on the size and role government should play in society.

Citizens should cast votes for presidents and senators who will nominate and confirm judges who will treat the Constitution as a rulebook.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the America? What went wrong? How did our liberty slip away from us? Then read this book. One of the best books describing how we've abandoned our constitutional rights and our freedom. Explains everything clearly with documented research to back up his assertions. A wonderful book for a true patriot.
