3.5 Stars The Billionaire’s Legacy had it all—steam, sweet romance, surprise babies and a sexy billionaire set on becoming a family. Ben always had a crush on his big sister’s best friend. Finally able to do something about it, he enticed Sloan into a weekend of sexy fun before leaving the country for work. Little did he know that their fun would result in a set of twins. Sloan refused to ruin Ben’s life by saddling him with two babies he didn’t really want. But when he came back to find her and realized what happened, she couldn’t deny she really needed help. Sloan and Ben had really good chemistry, and when they could relax and just be together they were the cutest couple. The way they were with their babies was adorable too. The thing was, though, that they each had issues of their own, plus a lot a baggage. The fact that they weren’t completely open with each other meant there was a lot of miscommunications which drove me totally crazy. The drama brought by Ben’s family felt totally OTT and I wanted to slap the whole lot of them. Prejudiced buttholes are a personal pet-peeve, so I didn’t like them. Both Sloan and Ben worked hard at not making the same mistakes as their parents, but they went about it in isolated ways, speculating about the motivations and responses of the other. This resulted in more misunderstandings. Fortunately, I loved the way the story was set up, and how we get to spend a long span of time with them, from the middle of the pregnancy until the twins are almost a year old. Witnessing those babies grow, and how their parents were with them was adorable, and balanced all other annoyances. In the end, The Billionaire’s Legacy was a sweet, somewhat sexy read about true love, openness and the importance of communication. I really enjoyed reading it and it left me with a smile on my face. *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*

One night ... to parenthood! You might recognize a few of the names in this book if you read Reese Ryan's previous Desire because they're related to the folks at King's Finest Distillery. This particular couple grabbed my attention quickly and the angst rolling off of them and in particular his family made for a really enthralling read. I loved their story! Fast paced, great characters and a well-developed story line. When tech billionaire Benjamin Bennett had the opportunity for one night of passion with the woman he's had a crush on since he was just a boy, there was no way he was passing that up! Six months later he still hasn't been able to get her off his mind, so when he returns from his extended business trip, he goes to see her ... imagine his surprise when he finds her pregnant with his babies! Sloane Sutton knew that having a one time fling with her best friend's little brother was not a great idea, but sometimes the best of intentions go out the window when desire takes over. Now he's mad she didn't tell him about the babies, his family thinks she's a gold digger, and she just simply wants everyone to go away and let her live her life!

This story is the first in the Billionaires and Babies series but it is also part of the Bourbon Brothers series, though you don’t have to have read any of the earlier stories in that series to appreciate this story which works great as a standalone IMHO. In this story, Benjamin Bennett (Benji) had a crush on his sister’s best friend, Sloane Sutton, since he was ten years old and she was fifteen. Now he’s twenty-five, all grown up, a highly successful billionaire and back in town to attend his cousin’s wedding. Who should he spot at the reception but Sloane. Speaking to her, dancing with her, the spark is stronger than ever, their attraction volatile and irresistible as now she sees him as a man, not her friend’s younger brother. They have a steamy encounter before he jets off to Japan for six months. On his return he goes straight to see Sloane and discovers she’s six months pregnant with twins! Could this be the start of their HEA or will fate put too many obstacles in their path? You’ll have to read it to discover what happens next! This is a lovely, heartwarming romance and the twins definitely make this different to the usual billionaire romances! Family history and attitudes are key to how Sloane and Benji react to each other and expectations. It is a great romance with brilliant characters and I really wanted to have serious words with Benji’s Mum - grr!! There are so many challenges to be faced by this couple, making it an entertaining story to escape into and one I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys reading small town or billionaire romances. I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

I really enjoyed this one from Reese Ryan. Sloane sees her best friends little brother at a wedding and he is no longer looking like the little kid she used to know. Benji has always had a crush on his sisters friend and he thinks seeing her again after so long is the perfect time to shoot his shot. I liked these two together. Sloane was really reluctant to get with Benji because of the age difference and because he was her best friend's little brother. The pregnancy ties them together for years though. Sloane had issues and Benji had his own family issues he needed to deal with. I was really upset with his family reading this book but I like how that was resolved. I also like how these two learned to compromise and put their feelings out there. Over all this was a really sweet romance with a sweet billionaire for a hero.

There’s a saying that love knows no age. For Benjamin “Benji” Bennett that statement could not be any truer. Since Benji was ten years old he’s known he was in love with Sloane Sutton, his older sister Delia’s best friend. Many thought it was simply an unrequited crush, but Benji knew differently. For Benji, Sloane was a dream come true. “You always made me feel that just being me was good enough.” It’s been ten years since the two have seen each other. Now the wedding of Benji’s cousin Blake brings these two back together. A night of catching up leads to a night of getting each other out of their systems. Much too soon, business calls Benji away and the result is six months of wishing Sloane was still in his arms. When he tracks her to Nashville, Benji receives the surprise of his life. Not only is Sloane pregnant, but she’s pregnant with twins and the babies are his. Benji wants to get married, but Sloane is opposed to the idea. She knows what it will look like to marry the younger, billionaire father of her kids. But Benji is persistent and makes Sloane a deal she can’t refuse. Unfortunately, when news of the pregnancy spreads, Sloane’s worst fears become true. Benji’s family, friends, and half of their hometown of Magnolia Lake, Tennessee thinks she got pregnant to trap a billionaire. Benji refuses to think the worse of Sloane and ultimately cuts ties with his parents and sister. From the beginning, I loved Sloane and Benji. Sloane is a woman who’s always taken care of herself. She isn’t use to asking for help or having anyone help her. However, when someone else needs help she’s there no matter what. Benji is a self-made billionaire, from a well off family. In fact, his family means everything to him. He’s an easy-going guy with a heart of gold. I found The Billionaire’s Legacy to be a refreshing read. There wasn’t any of the typical conflicts found in romance novels. You’re able to see Benji and Sloane get to know each other as adults and fall in love, all while becoming a family. The Billionaire’s Legacy is part of Harlequin Desire’s Billionaires and Babies series. But more importantly, it’s part of Reese Ryan’s Bourbon Brothers series world. Which means Benji, Sloane, and characters from the Bourbon Brothers series will make crossover appearances. It should be noted that The Billionaire’s Legacy is a standalone read, picking up where Savannah’s Secrets ends. **Received a copy from the publisher and voluntarily reviewed.**
